Interesting concept! Though the controls were a bit too tricky and I felt that moving and recharging were a bit too slow.
With more time for polish, this could be a solid arcade game!

Nice work! It felt a bit weird to aim the laser at some points, but it was still fun to play. I like the laser vfx/sfx.
Thank you so much for your feedback! ❤ I might have over complicated the controls a bit, so they feel a bit clumsy sometimes. When it comes to the laser’s VFX though - particles don’t seem to work on godot’s webGL port, which is a bit of a shame.
This is a very good and simple idea, I think the asteroids health need balancing since it's taking a while for them to disappear, I may just be bad at the game. I liked it overall! Thank you~!!
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the asteroids are destroyed quite slowly. The idea was that, over time, the ship's laser would improve, and they would be destroyed more quickly.
Had a good time with this one, I really liked the controls and the ship orbiting around the base, the laser was really well done too!

Too bad we couldn't squeeze more time to work on the game after the weekend.
Yet, after my last game jam nearly 5 years ago - I still enjoy those events, despite the exhaustion they cause!
