Added to collection!!! I will finish this game after jam, it's very creative puzzle-platformer :)
Favorite one I've rated. The concept and execution is great, keep it up!
Such a cool mechanic! Couldn't get used to using J,K,L so it made some parts a bit annoying but otherwise it's a cool game
A hidden gem! Definitely my favorite entry right now. The artstyle is cute and really consistent, the level designs are just great, the music and visual effects are absolutely stunning and I just love the use of the theme. Such a fun (and frustrating... ) jam entry! Keep it up!
This is very cool! I love the mechanic, i turns each level into a puzzle, nice work!
Looks like a very interesting game! Unfortunately I did get blocked on the controls. WASD was very standard but had trouble with the jumps a lot. The fact that there is controller support is very impressive though, and I am assuming it'd felt better when played with controller. I think some ability to bind your own keys/controls might help to make things smoother maybe.
Amazing game concept, wonderful execution, a great mix of puzzles and platforming challenges. Music and art are beautiful. I love this game~!
The pixel art is stunning and the idea is very cool but the keybiding of the controls is killing me. From what i understand reading others, this should probably be played on controler so i might give it another try later with one ! Still the concept is dope !
great concept. Really frustrate to play. You constantly have to stop time and change block making it really really slow to get anywhere. When you die you have to do it all over again slowly. I think you should try out celeste to see how they handle this kind of game. Fast and fluid movement this the key.
i LIKE A LOT THE GAME, i can't stop playing it until finishing it
This game was absolutely astonishing! The art style is beautiful and fitting, the game’s main mechanic is really well thought and it works great. The music is nice and it’s also a surprisingly long game for a jam. You even included an introduction and everything! It’s an amazing job what you guys did with this game. Congrats!
Probably the only thing that was a bit annoying was that the button you used to open the build mode wasn’t the same one you used to close it. I intuitively tried to do that every single time I was in that mode. I also struggled to find the jump button at first, as I (again, intuitively) tried with the space bar first, and ultimately found out you could use the J by pressing the buttons in my keyboard one by one. Moreover, the enter button didn’t allow me to continue with the game after the intro, and I could only find out about the skipping feature after reading the comments, which isn’t ideal. Lastly, when you are in front of a sign, you can still enter build mode, which can be confusing if you did it accidentally and the sign is covering the character. You can’t move and it’s not easy to pinpoint why.
All in all though, those things about the controls are just a tiny thing compared to how awesome the game is. But I thought you might appreciate the feedback! Keep up the good work!
A very, very great entry. I had a lot of fun and would love to play an entire full scale game made with most of these ideas.
This game is one of the most well thought-out and executed games I've played in any game jam. The art and music are both beautiful, and the mechanic employed was delightful and easy to use. The game's challenges were challenging, but always satisfying to figure out. My only complaints are that some parts of the levels - specifically a large portion of the level that introduces the longer, pivoting block - require a lot of high-precision movements that could be deemed as tedious. Additionally, dying in this game can be especially painful after a lot of progress in a level, so I would've loved to see checkpoints or a similar system. Other than that, however, this game was outstanding on all fronts.
I like building this way to get through platformers a cool thing I've never seen before!
The game is very fun and I really enjoyed the concept! Some of the puzzles took a while for me to figure out but once I did it was quite satisfying. I also can't say I didn't like the fact that you used Godot instead of Unity ;D
