Very cute! I loved the art and things felt good to control after I realized I needed to grind the coffee 😅

Nice work! It’s very cute and I thought it was fun trying to do the tricky platforming stuff while trying to keep away from the dog.

The only real issue I have with it is that it’s too easy to evade the dog during the bonus round. I think it would be nice if it sped up a little more just so it eventually ends. The navigation also breaks if you hide under or on the sink so you can just sit there forever 😅

Very cute! Nice work for a jam entry 😁

Very well done! I completed A side and definitely enjoyed it. I may have to come back later for B side

Nice work! I thought it was going to just be a cute tetris clone but it’s definitely a little more brutal than I thought 😅

Nice game! I enjoyed the dialogue and the ending was cute

Very cute, I loved the artwork, story, and how polished everything is! I think the quick simple gameplay works very well for a jam and it was enjoyable enough to get me to try a few times for a better score.

Nice work and I hope you have fun with future jams 😁

Nice work! Kind of feels like trying to figure out flowers in animal crossing

Nice work! It was very cute and I liked the variety you were able to include for a jam game!

I also appreciate all the ameowzing cat puns

Cute game! I liked the cat visual and even though I’m not great at rhythm games I was able to make it to the end (though my score wasn’t great 😂)

The only real critique I have is that the held notes seemed a little confusing to me. I didn’t realize I had to time the release as my instinct was to just keep holding down for a bit

Overall nice work for a jam entry!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😁

The visuals were very cute and it’s definitely fun to make the level more complicated and difficult each lap. Overall a very nice entry!

Nice work on the 3d visuals in such a short time! I’m not sure if there is an intended way to figure out the exit, but I managed to get out after a few tries through trial and error

Very cute concept and it was fun once I understood how to play. I loved the spinning dog and the music definitely matched it’s energy! I thought you needed to hold down the mouse to drag objects at first and didn’t realize you click to toggle picking it up or dropping it. I personally think it would be more intuitive to drag it by holding it down.

Overall I enjoyed it, the game was nice and simple which is perfect for a jam!

Definitely a fun boss rush game! I love the art style and moving around felt pretty good even if I’m a little bad at learning enemy patterns. The enemies I fought felt pretty good to maneuver around, though when I fought the bug as the first enemy of a run after restarting, I was forced to take hits since our attacks were synced up and it kept repeating it’s 4 way attack. Maybe I was just doing something wrong 😅

It’s definitely a really good entry, good work!

Also, was that We are Number One?

Really well done entry to the record yourself genre 😁

I played through most of it and definitely enjoyed it. Trying to avoid yourself is a nice extra step to think about when solving puzzles. The only thing I think would make it better is a fast forward button or something to make waiting go a little faster when standing on a button

Nice work! I love how cute and creative the visuals are and the chill music goes with it so well! I have a pretty horrible visual memory, but I managed to make it all the way to the end of the story somehow 😂

A very well made entry for sure 😁

Nice work! I liked the level design and adding audio tracks as you progressed was a nice touch. I also really enjoyed the idea of an evil space hamster, definitely reminds me of Jacques von Hämsterviel from Lilo and Stich

The main issues I had with it were that the physics felt a little odd, like how you can bounce up corners or kind of stick to walls. I’m also not sure if going through platforms works with both control schemes as I could do it with the arrows but not WASD. I may have just been doing it wrong

Overall has a few flaws but is a good entry

Definitely a goofy experience 😂

The only issue I really had with it was that the dialogue could not be skipped. I only had time to take a few shots at it and I probably would have tried to get the true ending for a bit longer if each run could be a bit quicker

Awesome! Even if it gets usurped by something else I’m glad to hear this is one of your favorites 😁

My long term project is just going to be a run based platformer shooter where you fight waves of enemies. Sort of like Exit the Gungeon. I wouldn’t really call it a roguelike, but it’s something like. It’s Christmas themed so the deadline is kind of tight since it’s just a few months away and there is a lot of work left 😅

Nice work! I feel like I got a bit too powerful in it, but I don’t really think that’s a bad thing 😁

Congrats, I’m happy to hear your monitor survived 😂 Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Unfortunately I think Lonk may be stuck in an endless gambling loop 😥

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it enough to complete it 😁

Regarding points 1 and 2, I initially thought of having to kill the player to start the copy, but I didn’t like the idea of having to wait around for it to do something. Having it on demand wherever/whenever you want in the level seemed more intuitive. I’m happy to hear it worked out!

And I didn’t get a chance to get anyone to try it before submitting, so I’m glad to hear I did a good job with teaching the mechanics through the puzzles.

Unfortunately after the jam, I plan to get back to my long term project. I’ll just be doing some minor bug fixes post rating period

Thanks so much for your feedback, the detail you went into was very much appreciated 😁

Thanks, happy to hear you enjoyed it!

I haven’t seen the same jump movement in a grid based game either, but it was kind of inspired by the levels in Baba is You that had the Fall mechanic since it turns it into something kind of like a platformer. I can’t remember if any of those levels had something like a jump 🤔

Really well done!

The art is great, the puzzles were pretty clever, and the music and sounds fit well! Being able to hop over streams definitely helped to give it some more stuff to think about when solving puzzles so it wasn’t too easy to complete and was a good difficulty. Great work by your entire team!

Glad to see another grid based puzzle game where you copy yourself, though this one definitely outdid mine by a longshot 😆

Definitely a pretty goofy game, nice work! Hopefully the goose can someday make a difference and break the loop 😥

Nice work! It was fun and the visuals were charming. I’ve never used Scratch before, but creating a gun was definitely easy to understand. I just kind of put everything into one nested loop though 😂

Only issue I seemed to have was that my gun stopped working after I tried tinkering with some upgrades later in the game causing me to be unable to finish

Overall, a very nice jam entry!

EDIT: Gave it another try and completed it 😁

Thanks! Glad you liked it 😁

Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed it 😁

Thanks! I definitely thought it would be more interesting to have things that the copy can do that the player can’t, like stepping on spikes.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I’m happy to hear the difficulty was well balanced, I was a little worried since I didn’t have time to get anyone to try it out before releasing it 😅

Great visuals and music, and it was pretty fun! Getting more upgrades as the level progressed felt pretty good and balancing downgrades definitely made it more interesting. The only issue I really found was that getting slippery twice made it unplayable since you can no longer accelerate a meaningful amount 😅

Overall, nice work on the game!

Nice choice in music and I like the Gameboy aesthetic! The looping movement was interesting though at times felt a little difficult to control. Pretty good game, though I unfortunately didn’t make it far since I’m bad at this kind of game 😅

(1 edit)

I loved the intro and everything about this gator! I’m not a pro gator, so I had a bit of trouble building up combos at first, but I didn’t let that stump me and managed to get him some shoes

I love the hand drawn artstyle and just wish there was more of this game. The only critique I have is that for some reason my mouse clicks seemed really offset, I don’t know if it’s something to do with the browser version, my resolution, or something else.

I hope things go well working on this further 😁

The visuals were very cute, though I found it a little too difficult. It kind of felt like there was latency, but I may just be bad. Maybe there just needs to be a way to calibrate but I think that may be outside the scope of the jam

Other than the difficulty, it’s really well done! Nice work!

(1 edit)

I had a bit of a hard time with the looping controls but I still had fun! The artwork was cute and I liked the assortment of meows when you caught the cats. Nice work and the CAT excavator was definitely my favorite 😂

Nice work! It was a bit too hard to get up to speed at the start, but it definitely felt better after getting that first strength upgrade. Some visual feedback for how fast you’re going would have been nice too, but I imagine that would be pretty crazy once you’re heavily upgraded 😅

Spoilers below

I liked that you added an ending to it when you get fast enough, I guess he really was building up speed like the world was ending

And sorry you weren’t feeling well during the jam and hope you’re feeling better for the next one!

Very nice! I really liked the goofy writing and visuals! I had a bit of difficulty with the hypnotizing sections, but thankfully I was able to sell all my items. I’m not sure if it’s something to do with my mouse settings since I changed them ages ago, including disabling mouse acceleration
