This was so much fun and the theming was hilarious and also dark and very real! I wasn't 100% sure how different specialties associated with different task types or what assigning a sublead did, but I still had a lot of fun rapidly clicking around to assign work and hire and fire people. Also love the drab office environement (I think randomly generated) people and name

Oh man, this game was relatable. Tasks after tasks after tasks. Can you do this for today? How many hours do you think this will be ready to deploy? full PTSD hahahaha
I love the mechanics and how the game looks. Well polished and designed for a jam!
I tried to get into it, but I wasn't sure who to assign to what, as under the task it said a certain type of thing was needed, but in the worker info it said stuff differently. I think the red starting to cover up their pictures was their stress level or something? But I wasn't sure. Lots of words on screen that I didn't know what to do with. Tried to throw stuff at my coworker, but I had terrible aim lol and couldn't pick up most objects. Really confusing overall for me, sorry U^U
Your game looks well done and polished, I just couldn't get it
Sorry to hear that! Sadly, we didn't have time to create normal tutorial which our game obviously needs.
Type of tasks actually are not straight connected to employees stats, it's more of a efficiency stat. For example, task in backend for adding some new feature will be done most efficiently by employee with backend specialization and big creativity. As for the red cover on employee pictures you were right, that's burnout/stress. It gains if employee is working on task that not well suited for him(not efficient).
Anyway thanks for giving our game a try, we appreciate it!
That was a really creative take on the theme! We really enjoyed playing it! Awesome job!
As a web developer by day it was fun to experience what my pm does all day long just slinging tasks. A lot of fun and unique presentation with the office space and kan ban board ui. Well done!
I don't know why but I clearly love to manage things since I enjoyed this aha, really great job :D
UI is a bit broken (camera is not center on the screen, so hard to click on stuff on right of screen), but very cool game! And you had to write so much text!!!
Love the Idea and mechanic. Gave me the idea on how to manage people <3
Interesting! Is there any automatic way to handle tasks in the late game?
Really impressive work! It's fun, polished, and the graphics are great!
Nice idea, a perfect game for a jira enjoyer.
Funnily enough i developed 2 games with a really similar concept before, but I always struggled with the fun factor playing with this amount of UI, especially in a timepressing situation.
It might be a question of preference of course, but i feel that with these kind of games you have to reward the player with more than just "Done", and "Completed".
Heavy reliance on numbers can just feel like work, so you've gotta add something (besides narrative fleur in the tasks or NPC's), that makes it all worth it. Some cool immediate changes around you? An animal dancing orange justice? Who knows.
