such a cozy game! It's a simple concept yet you made it so fun to play, I loved looking for what quests to give each animal :-) If you had more time I think changing up the font would really help tie the quest master vibe together, but it's so amazing regardless

Developer

thank you!

yeah, we didn't have enough time to take care of all the fonts, will definitely do it after the game jam :)

That was a lot of words on the quest book XD but I did read them, it really shows how much love was put into this game, good job!

Developer

thank you for playing and especially reading :D

we will look into making the quest book easier to go go through!

Art style looks really nice. Music matched well with the artstyle. Awesome game!

Developer

thank you ^^

The art is amazing -- really suits the vibe of a cute and cozy little story in a wholesome fantasy world. I did have a weird bug where when dragging the quests they would move wildly and it'd be difficult to hand-over. But I really love the concept - great implementation!

Developer(+1)

whoa, that's a weird one - thanks for letting us know! some chaos mode suddenly activated :D

Super cute game I absolutely LOVE the artstyle. The concept is also pretty amazing, giving me the vibes of potionomics and games like that, I would love to see you developing the game further, adding more depth to the game play and polishing it a bit.

Congratulations for your work, truly an amazing game ^^

thank you for the kind words!

we will definitely work on the game, would love to make a full and polished one :)

I never knew that being the NPC giving the quests could be fun! Really loved the characters (Mr.Whiskers is my favorite). As a suggestion, I would love to have some time pressure (either like in Papers, Please! where you have to get through as many people as possible to get more money, or by making characters leave the conversation, if the quest giver spends way too much time looking for quests).

Great work!

i love the funny lil characters you have! a bit text heavy but still heaps of fun

Developer (1 edit)

thank you!

yeah, we didn't have enough time to make the tutorial part and the texts shorter and easier to read, will work on that  :)

Very cool implementation of the idea! The art of the characters is awesome! good job :)

Developer

thank you for the feedback :)

I loved it! I really enjoyed the mechanics opening up as the game progressed. it felt really good and I loved the art so much! What a great game! If I could add one thing (if you choose to keep working on it) item rewards for the quest could appear on future quest requirements. Anyway I loved it, it felt well balanced.

Developer

aww thank you so much! we are going to work more on the quest system :)

I've seen a few other games this year do something slighty simliar but this is by far the most polished and well executed (and actually fun!) The art style is crazy good. I really enjoyed how you ease the player into more complex scenarios. Awesome work!

Developer

it is so nice to hear! thank you for the feedback :)

Not often you get to be the quest giver, always nice when trying something new.
Fun game

Developer

Very well executed idea! The art is super cute and I just like the atmosphere. Cool how the complexity slowly added up, I definitely see the potential in more. It's like a not depressing Papers Please :D

Developer(+1)

haha, not depressing Papers Please is that we had in mind ^_^

thank you!

The art is cute, the concept is cool. I would add a timer or something to make the game more challanging

Developer

thanks for the feedback!

we had a timer or more challenging quests in mind, will check if it works for the game in the future :)

I absulutely love this game and the concept, it feels fun to play and is really polished also found some of the quests and the player's stats funny, honestly great job, I am amazed that this was made in the span of the game jam, I loved it!

Developer

thank you for the kind words!

we actually had almost no time to polish the game haha, for example interface design, QA and in-game tutorial, but i am happy you liked it!
