Heya! I ran three games with this adventure as the basis, and I really like how much creative opportunities it provides with regards to the backstory.
As I ran the adventure more and more, the village NPCs really took shape, and provided strong narrative base with all the twists and turns Oakenheart provides.

I never knew that being the NPC giving the quests could be fun! Really loved the characters (Mr.Whiskers is my favorite). As a suggestion, I would love to have some time pressure (either like in Papers, Please! where you have to get through as many people as possible to get more money, or by making characters leave the conversation, if the quest giver spends way too much time looking for quests).
