Definitely one of the game that deserves to be the first in the game jam!

The most competitive game that I have played so far!

Very fun and Interesting!

This reminds me of a browser game called "Fish Eat Fish"

Very fun

:(

I wanted to like this; I really did. I like (and make) disturbing stories, especially presented like this. This is just not well thought-out.

The intro is ham-fisted and loquacious, trying to signal content and tell the audience what they ought to be feeling at the expense of atmosphere and pacing. The entire thing could be replaced with a single content warning and it would do better at signalling the disturbing stuff and raising the suspense.

"Babies started spontaneously falling from car windows into the lake" is contrived Looney Tunes nonsense that kills the horror dead in its tracks. I'm not even sure why it's there; children already swim in lakes. It just gives the story the same tone as an extended South Park gag.

I like the animations for the fish.

The second level is the most difficult thing I've done this entire jam. Why does jumping over the people kill you?

The visual of the empty car at the end is really cool. It communicates the silent tragedy of senseless violence better than the intro.

There are a lot of good ideas here, they've just been smothered by a wordy script and overeager pacing.

Also: good choice for the intro music. Henry Hall's work is classic fun.

It gave me Feeding Frenzy vibes at first, and then the horror kicked in as my fish craved for MORE ! Fun idea and an overall fun game, congrats ! :)

Interesting Idea! Possibly the best interpretation of the fishing role reversal I've seen in this  jam. Also loved the tone, great work!

It's sorta disturbing. The art drawn in paint really adds to the dumb idea, and i guess babies falling from cars is an exuse for horror. The first minigame was simple and fun, the second one i could get through it, it's really unforgiving and repetetive. I really liked the art even if it's in paint

That I was ultimately funny, I liked the music and the creative idea.

That was something XD

Very funny if not slightly demented,

And was the baby eating animation really necessary lol

5 stars for me

This game is definitely a first for me, very creative idea as well, love how it's put together.

Miserable experience.

Fun concept! I always enjoy coming across another fishing game entry :) The opening cutscene was really funny, and I liked how it set up the carnage for the rest of the game. Nice job!

Interesting, i was a bit afraid at first, but it took me offguard, the changes and animations are a nice touch, well done !

Wow that was something different and that baby eating animation....

I love how it gradually changes the atmosphere!
very clever, I enjoyed it

Oh wow, what an experience! I do agree with other comments on the second level, but for me getting to the second level was enough to see, how much lies beneath the surface.

The combination of MS Paint graphics and really serious writing was a trip, haha. Also, I like your description of how this game fits the theme :P

Cool idea with easy-to-understand mechanics!
