Well that was kinda stressful, but its a fun game!

I think you really got the scrolling speed down on the words!

Also "that's the spirit," that was pretty clever

Well I wasn't really accusing you of stealing but you're not wrong xD

The art style is great and the tiles look very good! The water flowing also looks really pretty! I also kinda got Ralsei vibes from the main character.

Btw I really relate to the rant you included as I had to also majorly reduce the scope of my game which was really frustrating but, personally, the best part about game jams is the social element! You can also always expand your game if so you wish!

It's overall very fun! Love the contrast between the maroon and yellow, it really makes the enemies pop-out! One thing I would recommend is adding some screen shake for when you hit enemies.

Very fun, probably the most engaging tower defense game I've ever played!

The overall style is great and I really like the minigames for each item, cutting the root was especially satisfying! Also the horror element was included very nicely!

But I feel like the changing of the moon's phases should be just a bit faster. Regardless, its a good game!

hahaha xD

Were you able to beat him, at least? I'm asking because some people have encountered a bug of sorts.

Love the candle enemy designs. I also really like the old dungeon-crawler aesthetic!

The screen transitions also make for good suspense!

I'm afraid that if there is a bug with the shield enemy I can't seem to be able to replicate it and it works fine on my end, but I will try to look further into it to see if there are any errors!

Thanks for playing!

The characters are very expressive!

This is the first time I've ever played any form of weiqi but I found Yinan quite smart at the game, I think I may have actually won by mere chance, but it was fun nonetheless!

Its so satisfying to press the right buttons in quick succession!

Yeah, he's a robot too!

Clever game!
The art style is also very good, and kinda nostalgic for me, it reminded me of the game "Pinstripe," for some reason!

I was going to add exposition at the start but sadly had to cut a boss from the end and without it it wouldn't make much sense, but the general idea is that you play as a rogue robot which has stolen an "oil drinker model" (Count) and thus can heal from killing other robots!

Thanks for playing!

I was originally going to have some exposition at the start but I didn't add it because it would be incomplete without another enemy existing in the game which I cut for time management reasons!

Anyhow, thanks for playing my game!

Very fun! Great artstyle and the pink-purple color palette is very easy on the eyes!

Also I noticed that there is a bug at the starting menu that lets you press the start button multiple times even during the transition, but that is barely an issue!

Btw the main character probably lost a decade from their life from this stress xD

The visuals are amazing!
The controls are a bit tricky but quite satisfying when you get used to them!

I think this game could benefit from having a "restart level" button,  but aside from that it's very fun and the pixel art is great too, great color palette choice!

The art style is so cute, I love it! Especially the Count's expression at the end!

You have to throw Count at him by pressing "F," that stuns him and makes him able to be attacked.

To beat the 2nd level you just need to press space from an appropriate distance from the pink heads and then move to the left or the right to get past the platform above them. In case you actually mean the 3rd level of the game with the multiple rows of pink heads then you can find instructions on how to beat it both in my replies below and the description. Thanks for trying the game out!

Very good concept!

The art is pleasing to look at, animations are fluid and the audio is calming. Additionally the both thought-provoking and comical scenarios make for a very enjoyable experience.

I could definitely see this game getting very popular in the future!

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback and will look into adding a buffer period of a few frames after SPACE has been released to make dashing smoother!

Also here are the instructions in a visual format, I hope it helps make what I'm saying clearer!

Thanks for playing the game!

About the these guys, breaking them is a bit tricky but here's how you do it:

You need to build up momentum by inflating and right after you pass the first platform you need to press D and SPACE at the same time and then let go of SPACE. Then when you are bellow the heads you need to immediately press SPACE allowing you to pass through them! Then you need to repeat this process of building up momentum, dashing (A+SPACE to dash to the right and D+SPACE to dash to the left) and inflating until you reach the end of the level! Also there is enough space between the platforms to build up enough momentum if you hit the one above so you don't need to perform every action pixel-perfectly from the beginning until the end.

Dashing only works with A + Space or D + Space

Moving around and slamming into the earth while this moon-like entity evolves in the process feels very satisfying! One thing that I would probably change would be how easy it is to die considering how it takes away from feeling like a powerful eldritch monster and makes the experience rather frustrating at times. Other than that it is an all in all very fun game!

This is a very clever interpretation of the theme! The gameplay is fun and the style is very cozy while evoking feelings of nostalgia. By the end, you almost feel like you too went on a vacation alongside the characters!

If you are referring to the second level of the game I recommend dashing to the left or the right (A or D + SPACE) right before hitting the roof. If you are referring to the third level of the game I recommend dashing to the right (A + SPACE) almost immediately after destroying the first row of pink heads, then you can repeat this process of dashing to the appropriate direction and inflating until you reach the end. Regardless, thanks for playing the game!

This is a very unique take on snake! Moving around in the 3D environment, though a bit confusing at first, is very fun and easy to get used to. Also the visuals are great and the way the background shapes move, combined with their upscaled, is very pleasing to look at!

Really fun game!

Thanks for the input, will take it into account for future updates!

Thanks!

Thank you, I appriciate it!

Thanks!

I will definitaly take this into account when updating the game in the future.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input!

Just for clarification though, when you say "to player movement" do you mean as in the moveent of the character you control or the "player" character?

One of the most unique projects I've seen so far!

The target very expressionate and it really adds to the experience overall!

Great game!
