A cute little game. Not really much going on, but it's short enough to get a nice vibe across with the art and such. I figured alt+enter to fullscreen, but most people dont so that's something you should consider.
Also a web build would be nice.
I really enjoyed the art and the fluid animations! It didn't always feel amazing that the slash animation locked you in place, but it definitely added to the pressure of each area.
I really like the idea! The sound of the background music compared to the axe was a bit jarring, and the window being small was unfortunate. For a 48-hour jam though this was really nice, and if you keep working on this I'm excited to see more level design!
The art is really cute, and I like the concept a lot! The gameplay was pretty simple, but that’s not a bad thing for a jam game. It does enough to stay interesting, and the level of polish is great!
Pixel art was fantastic. I liked the idea but wish that it had gotten a little more complex. There wasn't much to figure out, it felt like there wasn't much risk and so there's not much interesting decision making, nor a challenge to test my reflex and skill.
Excellent idea and really cute artwork. Think the level design felt basic but still a great job!!!
This is really cute and I love the idea of the one shopkeeper goblin frantically running to make sure she's at the next shop before the hero! The game is a little small though which made it hard to see what was going on. Great job!
The artwork is amazing! I died on the last screen (the one with the Alaskan bull worms) and the cart didn't respawn so the game softlocked, but it just meant I got to play the game again lol. The axe attack felt really heavy and satisfying. Super cool!
I'm a simple man. I see cute gobbo I click. Very fun experience!
This was a really fun idea.
Playing as the merchant who inexplicably always seems to be ahead of the player.
The windowing was a little off, but other than that it looks and plays very nice. Great work!
Short & fun little game.
Too bad it's windowed and pretty small.
Graet art.Yeah
Cute, short and on the point. (no pun intended)
Wish there were more than 2 levels or more detailed art. I wanted to see the gobbo outside of the itch page drawing. BUT GOOD JOB!
The goblin is hot, 10/10
Wonderful art, doing animations always feels like a risk to me during a game jam just because of the time investment. The game itself wasn't what I was expecting though, I thought we'd be manipulating heroes behaviour by hiding items in a level or something to tip the balance of power of a level so was a little disappointed by the genuinely good and well presented platformer. Either way fantastic work!
Art was great, I wish I could see it better but the screen size was fixed with large black borders around the viewport. The controls were very floaty and despite having a very long animation, the attack didn't feel like there was much weight to it.
Absolutly stunning pixel animations! The concept is also interesting and extendable. Greate job!
I wish the control could be smoother though.
Funny idea, I love that you have to help the heros also xD not only getting there faster
A great idea! The art is amazing! But the screen size is small which makes it difficult to enjoy the art.
Wow this was a really cool take on the theme that I have not seen. It's a clever way to work in a feeling of urgency into the game. The attack animation took a long time, but that again helped create a feeling of urgency. The art was extremely well done. I had a blast playing it, GREAT JOB!
