A very cohesive game with interesting gameplay!
I absolutely loved the art and sound design. I was especially impressed by the characters' hands on the table - I immediately thought about how much time that must have taken the artist! =) As others have mentioned below, some mechanics aren't quite clear from the description alone until you try them yourself (for example, the fact that you can only reorder cards for the enemy, but not for yourself).
Overall, I really enjoyed the game. Thanks for such a great experience!

Cool concept! I really loved the idea of choosing obstacles for the player. I'd probably remove the randomly generated obstacles altogether because they kind of undermine the player's choice. The platforming feels super smooth, but sometimes it wasn't quite clear why an enemy was dealing damage to the player. Also, I want to give a special shout-out to the cohesive art style.

Hello! It's really cool that you made a working game and managed to fit the jam theme into it so naturally.
As with any project, there's always room to grow, and I think focusing on game feel would take your work to the next level. Right now, the game lacks a bit of juice it needs more visual and audio feedback so that every action on screen feels impactful and satisfying. It's easy to overlook these details as insignificant, but in my opinion, they are just as important as the core mechanics.
Good luck with your future projects! Can't wait to see your growth as a developer!

Great concept! I was really worried that my clones would softlock me, but nope—the level design is very well thought out. I absolutely loved the audio design, it's so immersive. The boss fight at the end caught me off guard. It was awesome to see a whole bunch of clones suddenly helping me out.

I really liked the idea with the card timers. Managed to beat the game using sped-up Big Bens!
Regarding the tutorial, I didn't get what to do at first. But then I realized there are two fullscreen buttons in the game window overlapping each other. One of them crops the top and bottom of the screen, completely hiding the dialogue box.

Thank you very much for the detailed review! I agree with you, it was necessary to write somewhere about how to build a ship. Regarding the difficulty, yes, I think the speed of enemies should be reduced.

Very beautiful and exciting game! I really liked the aesthetics, sounds and the feeling of picking a star. I made a build on many small explosions, it was fun!

Like for game maker! I liked the game, but it was hard for me to play. I played it dozens of times and in the end my best result was 1695.

Very interesting and polished game! I felt it lacked dynamics a bit, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, I didn't find any bugs, it was nice to play, every time the modifiers were selected it was interesting. And I didn't like the lamps, it was very uncomfortable to go into the dark.

Unfortunately, I only had the tutorial running, the levels don't run. In the tutorial, it's easy to get into a soft lock by falling into a pit while dashing while jumping. I am sure that the game would be fun, there is an emphasis on dynamism.

Very fun. I really liked the gameplay component. However, in my opinion, the first waves are very easy and long. The music surprised me, it fits very unusually with the ancient Greek setting.

Very fun game.

The camera problems have already been mentioned below. I would add that the resolution in the browser window does not change, my entire game window does not fit on the screen. It is quite difficult to aim, I would like some kind of sight. Also, the enemy hitboxes are not very clear. Overall, I liked the lack of bugs and the atmosphere.

Thank you!

Thank you very much! I'll try to make an update.

Very polished game! No bugs, nice graphics, great sound design. For me personally, the difficulty grew slowly, plus the student swaps between gameplays take a long time in my opinion, I wanted to start shooting as soon as possible. Overall, a great game!

Thank you!

Thank you very much!

Thank you!

Yeah, I need to work on clarity and tutorial.

Thank you!

I want to make more roguelike mechanics, more equipment and weapons, deeper gameplay, add augmentations.

Thank you very much for the detailed review!

I wanted to do everything you wrote, but I didn't have time. I had Napoleonic plans to add augmentations, more equipment and guns, the ability to reassemble the ship after each flight and make the gameplay deeper by adding additional objects to the levels.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make a tutorial =(

Hello, thanks for your feedback! I don't think this is a bug, it's my stupidity. I decided that the player should have 16 cards in his deck, and if he has fewer in his library, then the number of cards in the deck should be the same as in the library (so you have to use all cards if you have fewer than 16 cards). I didn't have time to add hints to the window with the deck, so it feels like a bug, sorry =(

Thank you very much! I totally agree with you, we should improve the UI.

Thanks for the feedback! We didn’t know about the ghost bug yet, we’ll have to fix it, thanks! Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to test the final version, so there are a lot of bugs =(

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Very beautiful and interesting game! I liked the leveling system and the need to leave the safe ship. The gameplay is fun. I didn't notice any bugs, the only thing that is not very clear how the first weapon deals damage.

Very beautiful and atmospheric game. I liked the core gameplay. I get very nervous when the next stage of rain begins, perfect match to the theme! It would be very cool to add hero leveling and the ability to pick up new weapons from chests.

Thank you!

Hello! Can you please check out our turn-based strategy game in the spirit of Heroes of Might and Magic? I already played your game and left a comment. Thanks in advance!  https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973554

Very beautiful game. I liked the atmosphere. During the gameplay there was a constant feeling of frustration, because it was not very clear what would lead to what, I had no water at all from the beginning of the game, someone was constantly injured and my people constantly came from the expedition empty-handed. In the end, 2 characters died, but I somehow completed the game.  Также огромное спасибо за русский язык =)

Fun game. I liked the shooting mechanics and graphics. Reloading of guns works every other time, as I understand the second gun should be the ultimate, but it works constantly and bugs reloading of the first weapon. Also once I got stuck in a tree. Otherwise it is pleasant to play.

Very nice game! I liked the graphics and sounds. Minigames during Stormy's arrival are fascinating. The only thing I didn't really like was the game with the spacebar, I couldn't get through it for a long time.

Hello! Can you please check out our turn-based strategy game in the spirit of Heroes of Might and Magic? We'll play yours and rate it soon. Thanks in advance!  https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973554

Thank you very much for your feedback! We're glad you liked it! Unfortunately, there is a bug in the game. If you drag out the battle, the enemy may break and not finish his turn. After the jam we will release a version with fixes and improved balance, and in the future we plan to develop the game.

Very fun game! I liked the atmosphere, the graphics are simple but suitable in style, sounds and music are really good. I think the game gets hard very fast, robots kill you with one shot and it's a bit annoying. Also I upgraded the turret to level 3 or 4 and it started shooting not directly at the nearest enemy, but with an offset of about 30 degrees, which made it useless. I hope you continue to work on the game!

The concept of the game is amazing!

At first it was a bit difficult, but I figured out how to play very quickly. It lacks clarity of what is happening, for example the HP of units. I wish you continue to develop it, I would like to play the updated version. If you create a variety of cards, deck building and different enemies, that would be great!

Thank you!

Thank you very much for such a comprehensive comment!

I agree with every point. Initially I created the game in real time, but on the last day I remade everything for turn-based mode, since in this mode you can calmly think over each move (although at the moment there is nothing to think about in this game).

Very original game! I liked how you turned different stages into mini games, it was very interesting what would happen next.

I really like the game!

As the commentators below have already said, the beginning is difficult, then it becomes normal and then it becomes too easy (spamming guns and spinning in one direction makes the game very easy). It would be great, If you change the difficulty curve.

Otherwise, the game is great, I did not notice any bugs, the controls are good, the style is beautiful, the ship creation is interesting!
