Loved the idea and the variety between the levels. I didn't expect it to become so challenging, yet still engaging. Uplifting sound and music!

Hah, this was a fun idea and a good implementation! Level 3 was way too difficult for me, but at least I could help grandpa get his cheap pills and conspiracy theories :) Loved the sound effects!

Wow a crazy good idea!! Very good take on the theme! I like how it was implemented, and the random voices from grampa as well as the phrases that would come up are great!

One issue I did have though is it seems sometimes after missing the first key, for whatever reason all keys after that would fail, even if they were the right key (though now that I'm typing this and thinking about it... was I supposed to have him hit a backspace key??) I did find this pretty annoying as it happened on the last phrase a couple times meaning I had to repeat the previous phrases again. If the backspace key was supposed to be hit then maybe showing that highlighted on the keyboard or as a prompt somewhere would help, though honestly I don't know if I'd still like trying to use backspace as that would add extra complexity. I think just hitting the right key again would be more efficient.

Other than the above though I thought this was an extremely good concept that you all made look professional! Very well done to you and your team!!

This is great! It's such a novel concept, and a clever take on the theme.

I found myself a few times having to find an out of the way spot for the keyboard so I could look at things or wait for the next phrase to show; depending on what the goal is, perhaps there should be no safe spot, or there should be a more obvious one? Having the next phrase appear sooner after you get the previous one is definitely something I'd have liked though.

Thank you for giving our game a try, and thank you lots for your feedback! We're aware that there's little to no time to realize what the next sentence is, we thought to stop the hand in the air between sentences, so you can catch your breath and see where to place the keyboard next. This will be implemented in a post-jam build!

oh my goodness what a fantastic little game!  This really did feel like helping my mom type, but in a good way lol.  You guys nailed everything from the simple but effective game play loop, difficulty scaling, and aesthetic.  The characters are all unique and hilarious in their own right (I lost it at the cat) and I really appreciate the attention to detail, like the spacebar having a different sound than the other buttons.  My only real suggestion would be to have a randomized list of phrases to go through for each character so they arent the same each time.  But thats nit-picky really.  Awesome work!

This concept is pretty good for the theme.

The presentation was also pretty decent.

For feedback, perhaps consider keeping the grip on the keyboard on one click and then releasing on the next. Having to keep the mouse pressed to hold the keyboard was a bit uncomfortable, especially when I was using my laptop's built-in touch mouse.

Other than that, nice work.

What a simple idea that’ll greatly improve the gameplay experience! Thanks for the tip, we’ll add this. Thanks for checking out our game!

Very humorous hahah! The rules are simple but I really needed to concentrate. The level up of difficulty fit the narrative so well! The game feels so experimental and original.

With this one, you really thought outside the box! A very original game with a great presentation to match it! The controls feel great so when you mistype it doesn't feel unfair, it's usually just because you've been too greedy. Great job! 😁

This idea is really dope! I enjoyed playing it (and I was not that bad haha)

Great idea and fun game. I found it very funny, but still challenging. And also a perfect execution. I especially appreciate the possibility to select the stage you want to play. Great Job!!!

Wow!

From the cover, I thought it was another classic typing game, and I was already ready with my hands on the keyboard when I discovered the gameplay. I didn't expect such a unique concept!

It was really fun to play. I loved the different characters with their distinct personalities. My only suggestion is to add a restart button during gameplay. Making a mistake in the first stage, especially in the more difficult levels, made me want to restart immediately, so I had to wait to make all the other mistakes before restarting. Apart from that, it's a great game. Well done!

A great idea, added to our to-do list. Thanks for playing!

Fun game. the game is really fun and the different sentences from the different people are a lot of fun. but in my opinion the player should have an infinite amount of fails, since having to go all the way to the backspace is enough of a punishment. and I didn't get far at all, since i coudn't get past: "get good noobs". which is ironic. but its still a really good game.

Keep it up♥

Thank you for your feedback! We were thinking on implementing a checkpoint system per words (and clear the previous mistakes), so whenever you lose you wouldn't have to restart the entire level from the beginning, making the act of losing less frustrating and punishing, but we couldn't implement it in the jam build in time, but it will be added in a future post-jam one alongside other needed updates. Im happy that despite that you were able to enjoy our game!

Super creative idea! I love how every level feels unique and fresh, there some personality that comes across for each levels character by the typing, hand shapes and speeds, the camera movements and animations make the game feel extremely premium. Great job!

The idea is really innovative! This is one of the most unique games I've ever played!
