What a cool idea! I liked the ‘attack choreography sequencer’. I think what’s limiting this is the AI being too dumb, but imagine if you could play against other patterns that people have made super mario maker style!

One of the most interesting concept of the jam. Also well executed! Good job team!!!

Woah this was a fun one!!

This actually reminds me of that really old Kungergratz game called "Bullet Art", when you create patterns by just pressing the keyboard. It was fun, but got really boring overtime. Would be cool if I had more patterns to create.

Very cool idea. With some more time to develop it could be an extremely fun game.

Super fun to play around with the pattern. I was hoping people would make games where you are the boss. I love this take on it.

It was hard to know how the 4 sliders would effect the pattern, but it was still fun to mess around and see what I got. The overall polish on this is really high, I was specifically impressed by the timeline (not sure how you did that).

I think I could spend forever making those patterns, that was a hoot.

Ooh, this game is very similar to my own both in concept and execution! I definitely like this take on the idea, though I do wish there was some opportunity for gameplay beyond just designing the patterns. As it is, it feels a bit more like I’m just designing the attacks than like I am playing as the boss.

I really love the level of polish and the presentation, and how much more still seems possible with the concept with a slightly wider scope. Great job!

Very nice game overall, especially liked the AI for the player

Awesome concept, well done!

Not gonna lie, this was pretty rad. The pattern making tool was really fun to mess around with and surprisingly varied in what it could do.  I like seeing my attacks get used as well. My only feedback is that sometimes I felt like I should have gotten a hit in but the player did not take it. Presentation wise, the game looks awesome. This was a super unique entry. I have not seen anything else like this, so really great work.

Extremely impressive amazing job!! I loved making cool patterns my only feedback is that it needs more gameplay. I followed your development in the discord it is cool to see it all come together.

Really cool idea! I saw you posting this on the GMTK discord and really wanted to check it out! Very challenging but very polished. I feel like the butterfly hitbox might be a bit small but that also would take away from the challenge of it.

Nice idea with patterns, but really needs more of gameplay

super cool

Nice and polished. It was fun to try different patterns in different combinations and the game is balanced so that you're not more overpowered than you already are. Good Job!

Submitted(+1)

lol, i made an invincible pattern, that hero never stood a chance!

I've never raged so hard at a butterfly, but I got it in the end!  😎

Out of the box idea, really creative!
