Loved this game , always liked the Boss Bullet Pattern , and today I can make it by myself. Graphics and Audio gives feeling of my old favourite games.
I found it very satisfy to create pattern, it would be better if there is more to the gameplay.

I was always interested in this game when I saw it on the Discord. It made me curious about it, and I was pleasantly surprised about the graphics, and the engine (or should I say console) it's running on. Thanks to this and this Jam, I've learned about the existence of TIC-80.
Although the game itself is a bit shallow. Perhaps could have done more with this. This has a lot of potential.
I like the concept, but i would like something more in the gameplay
Sliders are very fun to mash around and deal with and see what happens. Something something monkey brain neuron activation.
You have a piano roll motif for how the attacks happen, which is real clever and I like, but could you integrate that with the music somehow? So the music plays and switches tracks as the bullet patterns change?
Also, a minor UX thing that may be good to have, different patterns having different bullet colours - it would make my actions in the sliders feel a bit more impactful if I could easily pinpoint them!
Awesome work!!
i loved the art style! it's always incredible to see what pico-8 users can manage to achieve! great job! it was very nice to prepare your patterns. you could have done just 1 or 2 phases, but you got 3, which is really good! hats off
sorry, this is TIC-80, not PICO-8!
my bad i only had 2 letters and one number right! anyway, it doesn't change anything to what i wrote, still amazed by what you can make with this kind of engine's limitations!
As a Pico-8 user, boo! Hiss!
Love being able to experiment with the patterns and see what happens. It's incredibly polished! Would love to see it expanded on after the jam!
I really enjoyed the games concept, I think that after the game jam, you should continue this! I do have a few suggestions, if that's ok.
1:I think you should add more enemies, so like maybe a squid or a sheep to also have to dodge the attacks
2:I think you should also reward the player, like maybe letting them unlock new skills, like moving as an attack
3:I think you should add multiplayer capability, like have someone be the player, and someone be the boss
But still, very good game!
suggestions are always ok. thanks!
Really original execution of this idea! The pattern making could've been the whole game and I would've been satisfied :D
Ah, a fellow TIC-80 user, glad to meet you!
Pretty fun game, although I had a hard time figuring out what these sliders do... The concept is nice, boss sprites are silly as all other butterf exe sprites are
I was a great experience, but it's more of a cool mechanic then a fully flashed-out game. The butterfly is too dumb :D
Very interesting! would love more levels/enemies
I loved the graphics and the ideia, but I got confused by the text to understand how it works
is there anything i can do to help with that? was there something specific you did not understand?
the Attack Choreography Sequencer was the hardest to understand cause it is not intuitve that I can change the attacks patterns, maybe putting some arrows to change would be nice
I'm impressed by the complexity, at first I thought it would be too complex to understand, but I figured it out pretty quickly.
The realization is also really good, I love the aesthetic!
Really love how you get to create the boss's attacks and chose when they happen! Loads of interesting patterns you can make with it.
Great job!
The patterns you can create are quite beautiful! I think you could expand on the concept quite a bit, for now it seems the one butterfly enemy is quite easy to take care of though. Good job!
Very interesting concept with great visuals and potential. And i bet it took a lot of math too!
Playing around with the sliders to see what kind of cool patterns you can create is addictive and you can even sequence them and fight against the "player"!
I'd say this captures the Jam's theme perfectly, good job!
