the game itself is very beautiful and the idea is excellent, the music makes for a great atmosphere. i didnt really understand how to do the bridging at first, but i fgiured it out in the end, maybe instructions on this mechanic at the start would be nice. but overall the game was fun and pretty cool, well done
Short but sweet.
I really liked the music and graphics, and the game play was pretty smooth.
Surprisingly I totally missed that the bridge materials were displayed the first time you encounter the game, and so I died a few times before that happened as the gaps all look the same. I wonder if you could have sign posted it better by putting the icons literally over the gap.
Any way, I worked it out and had fun getting to the end, so :D
The game looks very nice and the music sets the mood VERY well. I only has a couple of things that felt weird, mostly the actual bridge building but also trying to walk over to where it wants me to build the bridge. I still enjoyed the game though, Good job!
The atmosphere is great and core idea looks to be good. There is definitely something here that warrants further development. Nice job.
A fun little story with a solid presentation! The bridge building felt a little awkward but wasn't bad. I played it here for more feedback:
Wow this is a wonderfully peaceful game. There's just the right amount of tension without it being too demanding, the atmosphere was perfect, especially with the music! If you add more to the story I'd love to spend hours relaxing with this.
Thank you for your nice feedback. I'm not sure if I'll be expanding this to hours long, but I overhauled the UI and visuals already and am adding a couple more puzzles and story pieces. Hope you come back to play it at a later stage again :)
Hello, in case you are still keen, I just uploaded the update. It's a big overhaul of the game and extends the playtime a little bit, not by hours but a couple minutes ;)
Would love to hear what you think.
Cool game ! :)
Maybe I would have had checkpoints at every bridge because this is not a "skill-based game", so having to go back to previously solved puzzles isn't consistent.
But great ambiance and art, and I am impressed by how much you accomplished in so little time !
Thanks a lot for playing. I totally agree with you: Checkpoints were planned, but didn't make it into the game out of time constraints, you might have noticed that the death reset already has its issues... The version I have now is a lot more polished and presentable. Waiting for Sunday to finally be able to update.
Oh great ! I will play it again after sunday then ! ;)

Hi ! Cool, I'll try to give it a go this weekend !
Great entry! Loved the visuals and the concept.
Thanks for playing. Still a lot to be fixed, but glad that you like it
This was a really aesthetically pleasing entry, though the gameplay was a little hollow. Still, it was pleasant to play through and it only left me a little bit mad that I couldn't pet the dog. Nice work!
Thanks for checking out my game... unfortunately I didn't manage to finish everything in time, so the gameplay or even the ending couldn't be fully realized. Sad fact: you can't pet the dog, because he died in the mountain accident. His spirit leads the player to save the the injured wife, that's how they are 'joined together'.
Well... Just a minute in the game and I end up breaking the game. And I couldn't help the fact that I kept finding them. I found a glitch that allowed you to carry stones back to the beginning of the game. I think that the best way to fix that is to put in a checkpoint system, and it will also allow for people to experiment.
Thanks for recording your playthrough and finding some more bugs to fix. The solution to the puzzles is given every time you step to the edge for the first time, but you're not the first one who didn't get that and I have already improved on that. Very weird to see the game in this state now, as I have been working on a lot of things the last couple days, especially UI and "juice". It was planned to put in a checkpoint system, but I just ran out of time. Another lesson in time management... Thanks again, appreciate the critique.
P.S.: Another way how it ties into the theme is the ending, that got kinda cut off because of a bug. The dog actually died in the accident but its spirit guided the player to save the wife.
This was sweet. At first I didn't realize that the bridge formula was being outright given, so I thought I was guessing. I think I ran into a bug where I was standing right on the edge when building the second part of the second bridge, then it suddenly told me that I'd used the wrong material and sent me falling, but I had used the correct material, so I think maybe (?) it thought I was standing on the (newly-built) section and using the material (which would have been wrong for the following section)...?
But yeah nice peaceful music and nice flow. Cheers!
Thanks for playing, and notifying me of another bug, that I haven't encountered myself so far. I will check the trigger areas again, probably have to keep them smaller. You are not the first one, that didn't get that the solutions were given, I've already reworked the UI so in the postjam update it should be easier to understand.
The monochromatic palette looks great here! The gameplay wasn't the most exciting, but I liked how as soon as I started to get bored the writing acknowledged it, and it wrapped up quickly in a nice way. Great job!
thanks for playing. time constraint stopped me from getting more out of the mechanics, but it's definitely not an action game :)
Very chill, I did hit a bug where my character fell through the bridge (I'd placed the wrong material, my bad) and then when it restarted I couldn't move the character. Great job creating a mood here :)
Thank you for playing and reporting the bug. I will look into it!
I really like it. It has great atmosphere and the music adds a lot to it. Very nice and chill feel =)
Thank you for playing and glad you enjoyed it, the music was composed by Tunglith for the game
dang the game looks cool! The arts were really cool, they gave me really nice vibes!! can you try out my game too?
thanks for playing. just tried your game and already rated :)
Loved the art direction. The bulding was cool, but the weight capacity felt a bit cumbersome. I also am not sure if there is anything to be done after you find the person.
Hi thank you for playing and giving feedback. There is nothing more after finding the person at the moment. An important line didn't get triggered at the end, that reveals that the dog actually died in the accident and it was its spirit that guided the player to save the woman.
Such a nice feel to it, love the concept!
Thanks for playing!
