The presentation is great! I understand you have to form the attacks pattern but missing some feedback/clarity in action, I have to understand what's symbol means in UI. Somes of best creative game I have played in the jam.

What a great game! The art is amazing, and once I figured out how the game works it was a lot of fun, played way longer than I thought I would. Though I feel like once there is only one soul left there is not really much you can do, so the game could probably just restart at that point, or not? All in all, really creative and well done!

Lovely presentation, but quite baffling gameplay. I understand you have to join sprites together to form the attack patterns in the cards on the left, but although I got through a few levels I never got that "ah ha" moment of properly understanding, then using that understanding to solve a puzzle deliberately. There's the germ of a good game in there, but if you can't teach you players about it, nobody will find it!

Feels a little bit like I what I imagine Enter The Breach is like (I've got it, but not played it yet). Unfortunately, without a more thorough introduction to the mechanics I won't be able to decode how it's meant to be played.

I love the graphics and the idea! It made sense after a few attempts, but at some point the room just changed and I didn't get any feedback if I did it correctly. Great art style, sound and atmosphere, good job!

I really couldn’t figure out how to play, because I am a dumbass, but that’s very polished. The piano music is moody :O !

And i haven’t seen a combination game like this before. It’s like strategy 2048.

Love the artwork and engaging gameplay. Great work!!!

this game is extremely visually stunning and i was very impressed, and the gameplay was very polished and fun. amazing work!

It took me a good while to figure out how to play, even with the comment, I feel a tutorial level or a gif of gameplay on the page would've gone a long way.

That said, it was really really fun once I got the gist of it, the levels were well designed and it was cool to think through my options! I can definitely see more levels that use higher fusions on the cards and I'd definitely like to see more.

Also great sound and artwork, it's awesome to see a game that looks, sounds, AND feels good in a 48 hour jam :)

I love the art and sound design! One of the most polished.

For all those who came and all those who are to come and cannot figure out how to play !

First of all, sorry if we didn't make that clear, we thought the "how to play" screen would help but maybe the level design wasn't good enough to make it stick.

Second, imagine this game as being basically a 2048 x Into The Breach hybrid : you control the white spirits, and you have to kill all your enemies, who telegraph their attacks.

To do so, you have two turns, each turn consisting of  using available cards, and then moving all your units at once. After your second move, the enemies will play their telegraphed turn.

A card shows a pattern which you have to create in game with your units in order to be able to use the card.

And don't forget you can olso mush your enemies around and make them hit each other ! Conversely, if you walk into one of your blocked units with a sprit of the same level, they will fuse into a larger spirit.

I love the artwork of the person peering over the board but I cannot figure out how to play!

First of all, thank you ! And second, I created a comment above to explain better how to play, I hope it will help

Great graphic and music ^^

Great art. But gameplay was a bit confusing, could use "teaching" levels

Submitted(+2)

awesome art! though i'd say it was a bit confusing in the beginning

Submitted(+2)

Love the atmosphere. I do like the idea. But I think it's a bit confusing because (the results of) your actions are not really shown. I was making attacks, but I didn't really know at first.

I believe I'm doing everything right but I can't get past the second level. Nice aesthetics!

I've created a comment above to make the mechanics clearer, in case you'd like to try again, I hope it will help. Also, thanks !

Loved the art!
It's kind of difficult to know what to do at the beginning, and difficulty in general is quite high, at least for my post-jam heavely damaged brain.

But great Work!!

It looked great, I just wasn't really sure what to do.

Thank you ! If you want to try again, I've created a comment above in order to better explain the mechanics !

I really like the direction the art took, the gameplay was also pretty good although it took me a while to figure out what was happening.

My only critique is that the sound effects only play on the left ear on the web version.
