beautiful presentation and having a damage field only hit you on beat is one of the coolest feeling rhythm mechanics I've seen
Holy moly, I frickin' loved this game. Music was on point, great SFX, enemy AI, aesthetic, movement. I loved the little pulse speed boost, was really cool to time that and make hard banks when turning corners. Only nitpick was the FOV, I personally felt that it was a little bit too small, just a little though, but it was very difficult to navigate and find the objective because I didn't know where I was supposed to go. Actually, that says it: the FOV wasn't the issue, it was that I didn't know where I was supposed to go and find the trashcan/trash file. Great game! :D

I love the whole feeling of this game, it's got a ton of game juice and the main mechanic is really well done. The timing to the music was also a really nice touch, and the whole computer aesthetic was really cool

I love the choice to only have the walls hurt you on the beat, led to some interesting tension / push-your-luck sorta gameplay. nice game! the last level was really fun. and omg the death noise is so funny
Definitely interesting - because of the flashing and the fact that you can never remain still while tethered, I began to develop a headache and had to stop playing (flash warnings might be in order simply due to that being a trigger for certain health conditions, serious and otherwise, for many people).
I felt like it was certainly a challenge to navigate the nebulous environment, it was interesting to have the walls be a "soft enemy" and to be able to capture your enemies otherwise.
Thanks for the experience ^_^ Cheers.
You are right about the flashing, I'll add a warrnign to the description since we can't really add it before the game begins now. Sorry about that :/
Np, it's not top-of-mind in the jam, I do get that ^_^ Thanks much!
The movement can be a bit off at times and the graphics could use some more contrasting colours, at times it was hard to see teh player and the walls. The concept was good as was the music so good job on those.
Cool art and music. The movement seemed a bit clunky , and the constantly changing letters made it a bit hard to look at, bun in rest really cool !
Really nice visuals& sounds
Nice. Trippy visuals and it felt really smooth to control the player. I absolutely love how the game is synced with the beat, it's a nice touch. Good game.
Feels and plays really, really good and smoth. Great idea syncing the gameplay to the audio. Loved the error sound when dying. Awesome graphics. All in all - great game!
I really like how the gameplay is tied to closely to the music which I think is a really nice concept that's been added on. The movement mechanics themselves are very unique as well. Only complaint would be not being able to see enough as well as the maps being too large, I had no clue where to go half the time, and the movement could be a little more refined.
The art is cool !
The second level was super difficult for me. There were a lot of enemies so I couldn't avoid all the hits and kept on loosing the floppy disc.
Keep it up! It is a cool concept!
I really loved the aesthetic. The way the art and music and gameplay came together was really interesting. I quite liked how damage-checks seemed to only happen onbeat. This allowed for some really aggressive maneuvers and felt pretty forgiving to give the player more room to experiment with the control scheme.
The control scheme itself was unique, I just wish the grappling felt *slightly* more fluid, but the player character was still quite fun to control and amassing a small swarm of enemies was really neat.
I dig it!
Very nice presentation and I love the art style. Quite difficult to control but feels very fluid all the same. Great work!
I love the way it looks, and the idea is fun and clever. I’m not in love with how it feels to control the player, but overall it’s great.
Well done.
The music and art are a cut above, nicely done.
This is great! The art is wacky, the music fits with the gameplay and the sound effects are fun.
cool vibe good controls.
