This was a really cleverly put together puzzle game! I'm still working through the huge room puzzle, what I'm assuming to be the last one, and it's a lot of fun and a rewarding challenge, as the previous ones have all been. The ability to go back and retry different moves is invaluable, and overall it's a really thoughtful game with a lot of care that I had a lot of fun playing. Good job!

WOW what an amazing game. After I figured the orange smelting points out this was just fantastic. First of all the sound design is cool and the graphics really fit in this game. But the mechanic with these keys is just such an awesome interpretation of the theme. And how do you got this level design made in just 48 hours? I really needed to think like 10 steps into the future to solve them and this was very challenging but very, very fun. I also think you saved my life by inclduing a one-step-back tool because otherwise it would have been very problematic at some points XD
So all in all a definitely very succeeded game! 15/15 Stars!
I'm glad you liked it, especially the sounds- puzzlescript doesn't have full audio support, just a random sound generator, so it can be tricky to get things sounding just right. As for level design, I've been playing block pushing games on puzzlescript.net for years, so I guess I've picked up a few tricks- although to be fair some of the earlier levels in my game are mostly crate spam to simulate actual difficulty :P When I had more time to work on levels after the jam, they got a lot better and more interesting, and I'm still coming up with new concepts and mechanics.
The undo feature is built into puzzlescript as well! It's a very powerful framework for a very specific kind of game, so if you like turn-based puzzlers I'd definitely recommend trying it out.
It took me a minute to figure out that you had to go over the orange spots to fuse the keys together. That's really my only criticism here. This is a really inventive puzzle game, and I've played a lot of them this jam! The art style is simplistic but clear, and the levels are well designed. Liked this one a lot.
This is an amazing puzzle game, nice job on this submission! Very original, great work!
Fantastic puzzle design! I love how focused the game is on being a puzzle, so the art is very minimal and the screne is enlarged to focus on the entire level. Fun game :)
Very cool puzzle game! I like the heat system for mending the key together! It had my brain working and was cheering every time I solved the puzzles! my only critique would be to make Skip Level a different button than X. When trying to learn the game I accidentally skipped a few levels. I was pleasantly surprised you added a 'continue game' function when I restarted the browser window! Great work!
Really good game! I'm a fan of puzzle games and played quite a bit of them and yet this concept felt fresh and challenging. I was surprised at how well some of the levels made me think with how little space there was to work in, level design was on point for a game jam. A suggestion I would have is to clarify that the orange places are for fusing your keys because I had no idea what to do for some time until I came to the comments and saw someone else explain what they were for. All in all a cool game :)
Thanks for your feedback! Some of my other playtesters have also had trouble getting started. Hopefully I can design a level to teach the mechanic more clearly without having to break immersion to explain it. I'm glad you liked my puzzles, even though making them felt like I was just spamming crates xd
Good concept for a puzzle game. Took me a minute to figure out the orange spots were making it possible to fuse the keys, but after that things went well. Good job on everything!
Very unique twist on the classic block pusher, I like it a lot. Definitely some bugs to iron out (as expected) but the overall design and idea is neat, and I love the context. One gripe - it was difficult for me to understand the order that the key bits need to be in when looking at the lock. Also, you may want to update the description since "enter" also skips levels. Maybe put that notice in big bold letters at the top of the game page.
Love the idea! Well crafted levels that quickly and thoroughly teach mechanics. Great job all around!
Really cool entry! simple block pusher but with a unique spin, great work! How ever I had issues with the controls, specifically X being skip level made me accidentally skip level many many times. Also the levels felt like maybe they were out of order, the hardest level is the second last one (The really big room) and Ithink the second level ( the one where you are FORCED to weld to a key) should have been level 1 since it teaches the main mechanic much better. Other than those 2 minor grips this was alot of fun and I cleared every level! was really fun!
I'm glad you liked it! X being skip bothers me a lot too. It was a debug command which I left in by mistake. The second to last puzzle was intended to be the hardest level in the first stage before a new mechanic is introduced, but sadly I didn't have time to make more difficult levels using the red dungeon locks.
That level was also harmed by a bug introduced in the last patch before the code was locked - the golden locks aren't supposed to break the key upon unlocking, but the dungeon lock rules somehow infected them too. Well done solving it anyway; it took me a good moment as the designer to see if it was still possible!
It's good to know that level 2 is a good tutorial. Looking back it's a lot cleaner than level 1 and should definitely be first.
Thanks for all your feedback!

I like the art, and the sound effects are just right. I would say it was a bit hard, but that could just be me running on 0 hours of sleep.
