i played a few sessions of Trespasser and had a great time! i really like the abstracted action system for the different timescales- it saves a lot of table time.

our characters got eaten by bugs trying to retreat from a freak random encounter. we failed the group initiative check three rounds in a row. we felt very powerless against the dice- there aren't any combat actions which make retreat more likely to succeed, so all the trespassers could do was keep fighting a losing battle.

retreat should definitely be costly, but we do think there should be tactical decisions which support a need to retreat. for our own game we've cooked up the "Retreat Round", where the trespassers declare they want to retreat and then the enemy gets a full ambush round against them, after which any survivors automatically spend endurance to escape. we think this will keep retreat feeling risky while engaging better with the other mechanics of the game.

also a lil sad that poison doesn't stack. i definitely feel like it should

found a bug where the Arcane Scepter split projectiles vanish after killing a cube slime, but don't damage the resulting smol slimes. i hate cube slimes let me punish them with my missiles!

this game is pretty fun :) lots of neat mechanics and efficient abstractions

excellent short stealth game. might be worth describing the controls in the description, since trial-and-error seems to be turning a lot of ppl away.

if you ever drop down from a ledge irl, you will find that it does! it reduces the distance you fall by your entire height

14 is tricky :) one of the levels im most proud of

is there a way to ensure im not matched with ppl using mirror shops? ive got the preferences set to standard but i still get mirror games sometimes.

would like to have the option to turn off the "are you sure?" popup when skipping phases. as i get more into the intricacies of this game i need to skip phases a lot more often.

oh! my brain got EMPd i guess

how come EMP is a great investment now? :( it used to be sneaky, and force you to stay on your toes and keep scouting in the late game

really dont like the new font for numbers. they are super blocky and it is hard to tell them apart

this game is such a blast :D

the grenade button seemed the most out of place. the grenades are neat but trying to press X with my thumb was too clunky for them to be useful.

excited to try that 5th mission!

fantastic demo! i had the most fun playing the first stage- the enemies in the others didn't seem as threatening/aggressive to me.
would love to be able to remap controls.
beautiful artstyle. missiles are *very* fun. i like the click-and-drag to target multiple hostiles!

noticed some sketchy hitboxes in the bog- some of the tendrils near the central tree seem to be misplaced, with no collision and invisible walls positioned nearby

really pretty demo! didn't notice any major issues.

the level 'Magnus Rides Again' felt out of place in terms of difficulty- by the time you get to it you've already run into more challenging levels with the same mechanic (requiring you to leave magnus in certain places so that you can run back and forth beneath the electromagnets).

that is how demos work v.v

ohohohohoho, devious. impaling myself on my many children and watering the earth with my blood is a very compelling game mechanic. final plant has me stumped >:P

alas, it had to be :( but fear not! at least the DKA update i promised you a month ago will see the light of day

hmm. neat concept but there isn't enough going on. once you have a circle of guns you can just press z to kill everything on the screen, and the game is effectively over
