i wish :/ sadly is not one of puzzlescript's, like, five features. i would have to fork the engine and i do not know js.
but! there is a build in my discord server which has the debug platforms on earlier levels, so you can skip through them quickly. i'll release such a build along with every update going forward
hi! i have no plans to work on this game anytime soon- i lost the most up-to-date file, so it would take some work to build back to what's published here.
i also struggled to make interesting puzzles with the elements i have. i know it's possible but at my current skill i don't think i could make the game as interesting as it deserves to be
but! i will look at it and get back to you in two weeks with a yay or nay. i would love to turn DKA into a finished game, and this winter would be a good time to try to get it done
(in the meantime if you haven't played ascent yet go check it out ;) it's much less agonizing and is being actively updated)
came from your youtube! i think this could be a legendary two-player coop game, if you ever decide to revisit it. throwing items across the level to/at each other sounds like a blast and the element of human interaction would probably make the game both more manageable and more hectic at the same time
(also it would be sick if you could deflect the flying cogs using the wrench)

This is a LOT better. Personally I prefer instant movement (because that's what I'm used to) but the short animation time is a good compromise. One think you can do to further improve the movement is to record keystrokes and execute them in order after the fact (kind of like how you can press the button to turn before reaching an intersection in Pac-Man). Good progress, levels are much more enjoyable now!
