Thank you. Yea, I never managed to get damage and health implemented, but I decided it wasn't important because using the asteroids to steer was kind of fun :P. I'm glad you liked it.

I'll shoot you a review tonight after work. Thank you.

Wow I love this so much much! It's executed so nicely and it's just a joy to play with how smooth the controls are.

I love the moving through space and actually colliding with asteroids in such a way they shoot me where I want to go.

The "tutorial" if you would even call it that taught me exactly what I gotta do, kudos for that!

Maybe in the future add more stuff to do in space, it's so fun to play with these controls it's kind of a shame there wasn't more to do other than hunt targets. But that just goes to show how much more I want to play hehe

Overall great work man! I really loved it :)

Developer

Thank you so much. That's an incredibly generous review. I'm definitely going to be working more on this project after this Jam is over so keep an eye out.

I like it! I wouldn't mind if there was perhaps a little indicator on the ship that stays relative to itself, which told you which way it would turn for the currently hovered card. However, leaving this out could be part of the challenge of the game which I have no problem with of course :)

Overall I really liked it and think it can be expanded reasonably easily with more mechanics to quite a nice game!

Developer

Oh WOW, that's a great idea man.

Honestly, I will probably implement that in the next build. Wonderful suggestion. Thank you. I'll review your game after work.

Great idea, and great execution!

Nice game with a cool mechanic and a fun style

Really nice game, I love the concept and art, the mechanics for turning, and the overall style. Well done!

The UI is super satisfying and the game is incredibly intuitive to play! Great submission!

Developer

Thanks dude. Yea, I worked really hard on getting the cards to feel right. Thanks for noticing.

Flicking the cards is super satisfying, and even the animation of them flying away is fun to look at. I also really liked that you had to flick the "Go" card in the beginning, to teach you how to do it. I'm a big fan of in-game teaching like that!

I can definitely see this being a really chill touch-screen game, where you can flick the cards with your fingers. Great job!

Developer

Thanks man. Yea, the card flicking makes me happy too XD

The interface was really nice. The way you had to swipe up the cards instead of just tapping/clicking them made it a lot more satisfying. Even the way new cards slid in to place felt really good!

Developer

Thank you sir. The card flicking came to me this morning in a rare stroke of genius. I'm glad you liked it.

Although the game required me to focus a bit, it was very relaxing. The fact that I didn't have to place the cards directly on the ship was a big plus. I also love how the art style feels minimalistic but still manages to convey detail. Thumbs up 👍

Thanks man. Yea, I found that too. I was surprised that the mechanics all put together weren't more annoying lol.

I think the execution is great! Playing on a touchpad is very hard (I have no mouse).

I really like that you color coded the ship to match the card direction. Great detail.

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeeeaaa, if I had realized more people weren't gonna play it with a mouse, I would've added in some sort of input commands to make it easier. I had planned on adding controller support, but that got left on the cutting room floor. Thanks for the review man.

I got 5’58 on time attack without rushing it. The ship selection menu is a little bit weird i think it doesn’t show that you have selected a color after clicking on it. I think the game gets frustrating at times when you don’t get the card you need and then you begin to deviate from your target. It would be very nice to play with keyboard controls specially for people on laptops. The presentation is very nice at first i thought the ship was too small but then i saw why it was that size, even tough the assets are from other artists you still had the job to connecting everything together and choosing the right things so good job :)

Thanks man. Yea, I didn't manage to get to controller support in time. I'm a one man (and a girlfriend) team :D. The frustration was sort of baked into the design. You end up having to think on your feet in difficult situations, which I enjoyed, but I could see how that's not for everyone. Thank you for playing. I'll be sure to check your game out as well.

Very creative game! I thought that I would die if I crashed into a planet, but it just bounces you off! Very well made, and the added touch with the customization gives it a more personal feel. Very interesting approach with the card dynamic! Fantastic.

Developer

Thank you sir. Yea, I didn't get to damage in time, but once you learn to bounce off the asteroids, they actually become a way to help you steer :D. Thanks for the review. I'll check your game out.
