Really cool mechanics, great art and music and each level was fun and refreshing. Overall, amazing work!


This one was really fun, and I love the character design on this. I just wish I could figure out Level 9, because I tried everything and nothing seemed to work.


Really fun game with a simple mechanic that could lead to very interesting level design. The presentation is very neat and is overall very enjoyable to play!


Love this one! Very well made graphics and music, and great level design. It actually reminds me a bit of my own game. My only complaint is that some time it isn't clear whch path the knight will take. This gets particularly complicated when the rat comes into play.

The  Levels  are challenging and Fun. The Sound and the Style fits very well.

Really enjoyable game. Feels like a fully fleshed out game which you don't always see in Game Jams.

Like others have said mouse support would really make the game. At least for me, I feel like a mouse would be easier to use. Good job on the tileset, it's very crisp looking. The little playable character and skeletons feel a bit out of place in comparison though, being taller than the rest of the tiles.

The game is amazing and I absolutly love it

but these are the little nitpicks I have:

I kinda wish I could just use the mouse since there were several times I wanted to click something and the cursor moved too slowly

the pause screen could have been a bit more transperent so it will be easier to look at the stage and think

A lovely puzzle game, with an original gameplay. Everything is polished and feels smooth! Nice to see a Monogame based game in here. Congratulations, it is really well done!

Fun game. I love the mechanics. I think it would've been better if I could open the chests with the mouse instead of arrow keys .


Thanks!  I'm glad you like it!  Yeah, we weren't able to figure out how to get the mouse to work with the program within the allotted time, I totally agree with you on that and we will probably be releasing a version in the future that offers mouse support.  


the graphics are delightful, I love the cartoony characterization on every element. The mechanics help with the characterization too, giving every character its own personality. Its positively heart melting!

There's a surprisingly beefy amount of content too, from the looks of it. I couldn't beat level 9 but I imagine that there was a well fleshed out campaign. This is very nice!

Fun well fleshed out little puzzle game. Quite impressive amount of sprite work for all being done during the jam! The spell casting mage and the knights death animations were great touches


Thank you! I'm really glad you like the sprite work! I'm an artist by trade, so it was fun getting to put my skills toward this game jam.  With more time the characters would have had proper walking animations instead of hopping around like chess pieces. Thanks for playing our game!

Love the idea a lot. I also found it a little frustrating as it doesn't give you much time to think so maybe the knight moves a little fast but otherwise great!

This is pretty much a fully fleshed out game. Some of the puzzles get a little tedious, especially when you know the answer but you gotta execute it properly. I like that everything is predictable though.

The wizard is cute and emotive.


A little tedious at times, but I really like the idea, art and music design.
