epic game

nice idea TO HARD

I found a bug, if you open the first level in fullscreen, the game will crash. I don't know if the game will crash when you open other levels, but it works fine if I play not in fullscreen. (btw the game is awesome, I love the idea!)

It doesn't. If you posted the error message then I could try to fix it but otherwise I have nothing to go off of.

Maybe it's just a problem with my laptop then, but here is the error it gives me:

That looks like the level files were missing

Oh that's strange, thanks for helping

This is the best game in the whole jam. Animation and game design are on point. I don't want to bog this review down by writing two paragraphs because it's not necessary. This game is perfect in my eyes. Congrats on the game!

Well, for me, this is the best looking game in the jam.  The pixel art is absolutely amazing, I love the Windows 95 theming and aesthetic, the way the UI is set up is amazing (especially because there are other games with this kind of taking away controls idea, and their UI for displaying this does not compare to this game's).  The level design is fantastic, getting really creative with all different kinds of ideas.  Then my favorite thing that no other game of this kind seems to have is how a button gets linked to a mechanic -- jumping might also activate platforms disappearing or appearing, or it might shoot a cannon.  And this game has a lot of levels too.  It practically feels like a commercial game that was made and completed in just two days.  Really good!

Best animation I've seen in the jam, and the thumbnail is also really beautiful! Making windows 95 this cute is quite a feat Lol! The way that the rules of the game change keeps the game always interesting! Congratulations, really great work!!

A truly great experience, and feeling very well-polished for a jam game! The graphical style manages to combine both a modern pixel art feel and the aesthetic of old Windows versions very nicely, and the animation on the virus is great. The sound design here is also very nice - sound effect and music choices here are well-done. Gameplay had plenty of variety, even if my timing wasn't very great and I couldn't beat every level because of it. All in all, a great game, good work!

Absolutely flawless. I love it!

Awesome game! Very good level design and so many levels for just a jam game i wonder how you managed to do it all.

Congrats!

This game is gorgeous. The gameplay is a good twist on the theme and it's well executed, but the controls could be very unforgiving at times. For example, some jumps were hard because of a lack of coyote time, leading to a very specific timing required that wasn't especially fun to master.

Still, amazing game and one of my favourite in the jam so far. Good job ^^

Can i give a 6/5 for the presentation? It's stelar. Though my biggest complain is that the wall jumping can be really finicky and precise, making some levels really anoying, specially the level where you auto run, since sometimes the bug would just stop pressing a key  while i was trying to wall jump. Still, besides that, it's a joy to play and see.

There really isn't anything I can say about this game that hasn't already been said by someone else. Except that the ending made me HOWL with laughter! Also, I'm flattered you used the pixel game jam logo I made! Oh, and the player character is so adorable!

Definitely the best game in the jam!

This is definitely the best game ive played in the jam. The rules in each map seem so simple yet are hard to master, and the controls are extremely well done. i died so many times but the games is just too addictive to give up! The art is very polished and the idle animation with the angry cursor is absolutely adorable. The music and sound effects are also just perfect.

Gotta say this is my favorite for sure on this jam. I've played a lot from the top rated, but this one is so perfectly polished! The idea is very creative and scalable, the polish is gorgeous and the level design is on point (a little bit hard in my opinion but very fair). Congratulations, I hope you guys win this Jam!

Insane amount of polish here. Really shows what a group of people who know how to work together can make in 2 days.

Never thought I would come across a Game Jam game that took me 1 hour to complete. Great game!
