How does your game fit the theme?
When you turn into a werewolf, you lose control of your character. I messed up the jam version, however I have made a fixed downloadable: https://squeg-inc.itch.io/escape-the-werewolf-fixed

Marked as available for mac, but it looks like it isn't :( couldn't try it...

Really awesome idea that was surprisingly addictive and complex. I found that:

  • I had weird clipping issues at the walls where I would violently vibrate
  • The UI sometimes cut off in weird places (could be due to my screen size)
  • Restarting levels was a bit too slow

this is a really cool idea! unfortunately i couldn't seem to make any progress, in either the fixed or jam versions... maybe adding a controls list or something would be nice?

So interesting concept. It's so hard to win the first level :(

Very fun and original, hard as nails and would definitely say to tweak the balancing and collisions, but I did enjoy.

The idea was  very smart! The game might be a bit buggy (I clipped the werewolf pretty easily), but the most important thing to me is the core idea. Great work!

I like this take on the werewolf idea, and with some more time to polish the movement and interaction mechanics, I think this would be really great. nice work!

even though it's not yet polished, and get away from werewolf is pretty easy due to bugs, i like the idea and core of the game. Escape from yourself - I've never thought of that! 5star creativity

interesting game! where can I find mac os version?

Idea is very good! Could not play past level 2, controls got stuck? But very nice execution otherwise :]

I really liked the idea and the music! Nice entry!

I can't progress past Day 1 - its impossible to avoid the werewolf. Nice concept though. Love the art!

I didnt seem to understand how to hide from the werewolf but i love the idea of trying to avoid another part of yourself and hinder it as part of gameplay

i really like the concept! as others have mentioned there are a few bugs.
one that i didn't see get mentioned is that I managed to go out of bounds on the first level by trying to get the character to walk around the stones at the top right of the level.
i like the take on the theme though!

Unfortunately couldn't play past the beginning of day 2

this is a great idea  and the art is amazing, also the music and the SFX are great

but unfortunately the game is a buggy mess:

day two is not starting , you can glitch out of the map very easily , there are two day 1 s and I don't know how you are supposed to beat the second day one without glitching out of the map

Yep - I'm very annoyed at that - I have a fixed version of the game now and it's great, its such a shame I screwed this one up.

The fixed version is here btw: https://squeg-inc.itch.io/escape-the-werewolf-fixed

so I played the not broken edition , and I'm glad I did . It was highly enjoyable (I also liked the ending - pure gold) such a shame you had problems with the submission

Really fun idea. My game froze at the start of Day 2.
