Are you created in Godot too? What mechanics you used? We think about Unity for next time. Thank for ypur experience.

Yup made in Godot as well, i tried to use some sort of melee mechanics for my game.

Yep, Godot rulez, I really like the Node system, and the fact that it's open source and totally free. I tried two new things in my game. The steering behavior - which wasn't implemented really well, hence the "ice skating". The other thing is the lights (I should learn about this earlier, the implementation is very "hacky", and it eat up a lot of time).

Godot is a very intuitive engine to use, has a good documentaion and is very version control friendly.

I really like Godot. We usually work in 2D, and the engine is pretty well optimize and easy to use for 2D. Version 3 did also a great improvement for 3D games, but I have not proved it, still...

I have been many years proving different engines and libs and Godot is my favorite by far, and also libre software, so... for me is the go-to! Also 100% compatible with my Linux :)

Godot is such a great engine. Especially given that it's free and open-source. :) I really benefited from the vastly improved tilemap handling this jam. In older versions creating tilemaps and expanding them over the course of a project, was really a pain in the ass. But now it's really easy and worked well for me.

Usually I code my games in Game Maker , but I decided to change to Godot a week ago (cause It is FREE) ,and made my first real game on this Jam .I learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
