Nice game, the control is a little bit difficult to grasp at the first time.
Maybe you could decrease the shooting cooldown so the player could move a little bit faster / more freely.
And the metroidvania aspect is interesting as well.

Really enjoyed this one. I liked the idea of combining movement and attack in the same mechanic, although it was difficult to control at times, especially toward the beginning.

I played this one through but I think I may have missed some friends along the way. I did have quite a bit of fun with the ones I did find. I'm really impressed that you made all of this during the jam. I didn't find the theme really strong though. This was fun.

Awesome Idea for a metroidvania (a 'Floatingvania' haha)! Could be interesting game if developed further with additional game mechanics and things to make the main mechanic shine even more. I'm interested how a playthrough of this game would be like if it was Speedrunned! Haha!
This game reminds me of metroid and zelda, This game is really goo but... it culd use a bit of posishing but GREAT for 48 hours love the music!. The charcter should be faster but really good game!
We were planning on adding a rabbit friend that would increase move and charging speed (which is why there is a rabbit in the victory screen), but ended up not having time for it.

Making friends is such a cute way to power up. Bouncing around only half in control definitely evokes puppy as well :) I'm impresed with how much level you were able to cram in here.
I realized after beating the game that there were still a bunch of friends to find (woops) so I can't speak to mechanics I wish were there yet.
I really like the concept and how the movement system works! I actually preferred the movement before getting the no-bounce upgrade, since it really had a great sense of momentum. I also had a problem where I wasn't able to aim in certain directions when the character was at the edge of the screen.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! We noticed the issue with the aiming after the jam was finished unfortunately and couldn't fix it.
