I'm bummed that I didn't get to play your game! Followed you to maybe see it in the future 😁

If you go to my dashboard you can play it, don't rate it though as it's a newer version. Thanks.

I liked the monochrome art and audio too! Fun game

Developer

Thank you.

I just watched back the game on the livestream, this was a nice title! I really liked the difficulty spike as you progressed through the levels, so although collecting the buttons was simple, the placement of them meant you had to be mechnically accurate to collect them all. Also the music and sound complemented the game well. I didn't see the theme at all, but gameplay wise you did well!

The game is missing? On https://rhythmpattern.itch.io/roy it says: “The developer has not uploaded a game yet…”

Developer

I accidently deleted it, cause its a jam I can't reupload. My first jam, many lessons learnt!

Ah sorry to hear that, I was about to give it a go. Have you contacted the devs to let them know? I'm sure they'l' be able to help. Otherwise you can re-upload it after judging.

Developer

It's ok, I reuploaded a newer version on my itch.io dashboard if anyone wants to play it. I already got some feedback. So it's alright.

The feel of this platformer was spot on. the jumps and contact was lovely. I found the level design a bit frustraiting at fisrt and the press enter to select levels needed a prompt. Other than that I had a lovely nostalgic time. Great work

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.

The music was too dreamy for my current level of sleepiness.  I could totally fall asleep to that right now.  I really liked the small particles, and I always enjoy a parallax background.

Developer

Thanks for playing.

A charming aesthetic. I was a little confused on the menu/level select screen at first, and thought the game was stuck as the controls that were just explained to me didn't seem to do anything (it wasn't clear that it was a menu/overworld). Some of the button placements in the third level were frustrating, so I stopped playing before managing to complete the level. A great start, and I like the monochrome aesthetic and choice of music.

Developer

That's good to know. Thanks.

Enjoyed it a lot, it took me a little bit before I figured out you could move using arrow keys and enter using enter xD

managed to get all the buttons ^^ after finding out about short jumps it helped a lot

Also I might just be going crazy, but is the overworld meant to look like a floppy disk?

Developer

Thanks. I wasn't thinking of a floppy disk. Thats a cool idea though.

Really relaxing music, i also love the grey scale art! Couldnt get past the first bit tho:( wasnt sure how to move up

Developer

Thanks. The first part is just a map. Press enter to enter each level.

Short and sweet, that last level took me a little time!
My favourite part was all the background art :)

Developer

Thanks for playing, I appreciate the comment.
