How have you used the theme "Strength Lies in Differences" in your game?
Each character in the game has cards associated with them, you can combine the cards of the different characters to produce more powerful effects. Their different abilities combine to be of greater strength than when used individually. When together their differences result in greater strength through teamwork.

Contrastingly, the villain in the game has been producing chimaera, combining different animals together to try and create powerful monsters. In doing so they are forcing an increase in strength by trying to pick the strongest elements (or differences) from each creature.

It's up to you to decide which way is the correct way of producing strength by combining differences.

Am I right that the game is silent? I don't want to rate with a low score for audio if there is something I should be hearing but I'm not...

Such a fantastic entry - I really enjoyed my time with this! The only issue I had was that it seemed the cards were limited, both in damage and options, and the enemies would keep building up armour and healing, making them very hard to break. Also the lack of audio was disappointing, but I could imagine a sort of soundtrack/SFX in my head anyway. :)

The gameplay was brilliant though and there's clear scope for a really solid full release if you wanted to take it further.

It's also the best use of the theme I've seen in total! I like how it's possible to ignore combining the two hero's actions and try your luck, just to get a whiff, so it's reinforced that you have to both fight together. Also the card art and general art style was wonderful, which i'm already used to from Darkest Day. :)

I love the artwork and gameplay and it's well designed. Adding a battle soundtrack and SFX would immerse me even more.

Very nice game and art style. I see much potential here with addition of cards, weirder enemies, and surprising card combinations.

I accidentally killed the enemy by burning and it sadly crashed. Overall it seems like a nice take on Slay the Spire. The art looked nice!

Yeah, sadly discovered that bug a couple of minutes after midnight. Know exactly how to fix it, but somehow we never encountered it when playtesting until after the deadline. Glad you enjoyed it though!

This gets me hoping there will be more cards and levels in the future, it really was a good experience.

Nice take on the card fighting game which is one of my favorite genre

Really cool game, I was excited to see the different combinations of cards :) Good job!

Really neat concept! Extremely familiar as a Slay the Spire player, but the addition of on-the-spot-fusion mixes up combat and card drawing flow in a pleasing way. Great potential in terms of what can be done to manipulate card order as well as just mix up what options you have, a really solid system!
Also a big fan of the visuals and the characters. A great game overall!

Clever and has a lot of potential! I really like having to decide if I want to use a card in my hand or a spliced card. It'd be rad if I could make my own decks after learning more of the spliced cards, though obviously that's out of scope for a jam game.
