Simply amazing! Time & light concepts really make this game unique! Good job!

Thanks a lot man! :)

That was a lot of fun ! In 3 tries, didn’t get past the giant slime boss :( My weapon broke everytime on floor 2 or 3, maybe I was spamming too much lol. Also, I was very impressed by the titlescreen, liked it a lot ! Very complete game !

Developer

Thanks a lot!

I gave up after the defeat against the 2nd boss but I liked it a lot, it was already quite complete in terms of content but I'm curious to see what there are more, nice work overall !

PS: I had a little bug, the SFX got cut during a game.

Developer

Thanks! Thanks for reporting the bug, I'm gonna look into that!

Some of the most fun I had in this jam. This game is amazing. With a few tweaks here and there, this could be at the very least a 5 usd game I would buy.

Developer

Wow, thanks so much! I agree, I'd like to have tweaked a few more things. I can assure you that I'm picking up this game and will develop it further and make it into a full game!

Just the best, awesome !

Developer

Thanks a lot :D

This was fun! It really feels like it was made for Gameboy!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I wish it was :D

The balance between being cautious in the dark, and being pressured by the ticking clock to rush and make mistakes is excellent. I'll definitely play this again.

Congrats!

Developer

Thanks so much man! Have fun!

Love it! The clock sound annoyed me at first but it did give me a real sense of urgency. Once I figured out you could run the game was a lot more bearable too. Great job!

Developer

Thanks! The tutorial room mentions that you can run :)

I guess I missed it due to the darkness :p

I am not a fan of the aesthetics but there is a lot of work behind this one. The lighting is also an interesting mechanic, I never thought it would be possible to do something like this with GameBoy limitations. It really feels like a fleshed out game, I had a good time with this one and probably play it again in the future ;).

Developer

Thanks! What part of the aesthetics don't you like?

Submitted

It's difficult to say, but I think it's because all "sections" are composed of a single color.

For example, the lighting looks like 3 circles (the seperation is harsh). The floor is composed of one color (with another for the borders). I don't think it's a bad choice to be honest, it's just a matter of taste ;).

Developer

I see! I went for a high contrast to visually differentiate the floor and the walls.

Nice roguelike! There's a lot of polish here. Unfortunately for me my stick broke and I couldn't find another weapon :(. But it's cool to play a game like this in the Game Boy format. I didn't realize what the timer was for until I hit a Door of Time- pretty cool twist on the roguelike formula!

Developer

Thanks! Yes, this game is meant to be played multiple runs. You slowly understand the different concepts of the game. It's not made to be easy. A good strategy is to find the gates of time as fast as possible, as the rooms behind them contain a lot of treasure chests. Weapons also spawn in the normal rooms.
