I think the busy vibe of the street with all the people going to lemonade stands really works quite well and I think you did a pretty nice ob on the game!
I played the game without reading the instructions and I still figured it out! This game is intuitive and it's fun to upgrade your stand.
Yes!!! I won! I really like it, it's a kind of clicker with a management game. Some of my favorite things! Great job in such a short time!
I loved this game! The idea is creative, keep going!
Nice game! The mechanics worked well, and I like the fact you don't see a timer, so that you are not sure when best to upgrade your stand, as you might not have enough money to win that round.
Great work.
Really unique idea and well implemented , good job!
It was a very cute lemonade stand management game. loved the art.
Interesting management sim and got frantic when business is up. Nice entry
Not as easy as it looks! Getting the right upgrade strategy to stay in business was hard. Good job!
Great job getting in several features here. I like how the crowd wanders around to each stand, it doesn't feel too linear. That's cool that you managed to get an upgrade system into the game. The gameplay features along with the original art is very impressive, good work!
Thanks!
Hell yeah, I'm the queen of lemonade! (Lost a couple times first before I figured out the mechanics lol) Love the sprites for the kids so much that I almost wish there was a character creator. Great work!
Thanks! :)
Great, now I want lemonade haha. Good job on your submission! I loved the sprites for the customers. It was a little confusing at first since I didn't know which one I was, but then I saw the screenshots with directions which helped a lot.
It's my first time doing the art for a game so I appreciate that. I'm glad the screenshots helped, I thought it'd be intuitive with the numbers next to everyone but the player and everyone else making lemonade automatically but I can tell from several comments that was way off. Definitely a lesson to keep in mind going forward for me.
I think the "issue" with it not being as clear is cuz the buttons were in the top corner which could be seen as just general buttons instead of the intention of being right next to "your" stand. But yeah, game jams are all for learning experience anyway!
Great job on finishing your game. I liked your interpretation of the theme with the story and the game mechanic. I thought overall the game was inventive and it kept me engaged. I would've liked to upgrade more.
Thanks for the feedback
Cool interpretation of the theme, shame there is only three upgrades and once there is only two stands left there isn't much you can do, just a waiting game. I liked it
Thanks. I'm glad I managed the three, I did get a bit of a late start to the jam
I loved being the last stand standing. Now I can double my prices!
Haha
Fun game and well linked to the theme.
Glad you enjoyed
Very cool submission! Great minds think alike!
Indeed
This was awesome! The shop/upgrade system and customers are really well designed. I made it to the final two, and I was neck and neck with the other guy, but I just couldn't pull ahead and bit the dust. It's a fun race haha
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I really like it! The sounds and music was a nice touch but I felt it was a bit easy to crush the competition, I guess I'm a natural Lemonade stand owner. Great Job!
Thanks. Difficulty is tough in a game jam. It was easy for me, but of course it is, I made it!
Took me a bit to understand what I was doing but when I got it, it was very fun! Keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed!
