Cool atmosphere and sounds. The art is cute, very impressive you created most of this. I think taking the time to find a font to match your visual style is an easy win to improve the visuals. I like the mechanic of bumping into the ghouls to defeat them. Good stuff! Stay blessed!

I like that you have multiple maps, that's pretty impressive. Great overall theme. I like the Graham cracker pause menu and sweet UI. Great choice of SFX for the gun. I like the tooth with the wizard hat.

Loooool I enjoyed the opening story. Great artwork and writing. Good music for the gameplay, I felt like the last defender of earth. I think looking into the camera work to keep the player closer to the center while moving around the arena would help for this style of game so enemies can't sneak up to easily. I like the color palette you went with for the game, very space-y. Good stuff!

Great job getting in several features here. I like how the crowd wanders around to each stand, it doesn't feel too linear. That's cool that you managed to get an upgrade system into the game. The gameplay features along with the original art is very impressive, good work!

I played with 1 other player and we had fun! Think you designed this game with good energy from the art, music, and competitiveness. I like the overall idea here. Good job getting an interactive environment in too along with the players. I like the win screen you created at the end.

Great job making all the art! That's a lot of work. When you have less time to work on the gameplay, I think its beneficial to go for easy wins through polish like screen shake, extra SFX, enemy death anims, etc.. I like that the enemies move in interesting angles. Good choice of music, too. Player and enemy movement speed feel nice.

I like the style of your art. Why are these Vegans trying to eat me instead of the stand?!

Great art! Very cute design overall. Interesting gameplay, is there an intended strategy for sorting through the 2 queues of food quickly or is it random?

This is fun! Very cute and funny. Nice transition from the start screen into gameplay with the music. Like the zany vibe. Really fun and simple gameplay.

lol. Very funny, wasn't this a game Rick pitched, haha? I didn't seem able to connect to the server? But I like the silliness going on here. I am curious how you created the planet-like ground to slide around on... is it just a textured sphere and you programmed the dog to move around it somehow? Is it a terrain? Very cool.

Thanks for playing! Thanks for your comment on the laser, I really wanted to get the polish of a nice later and hit effect into the game.

Thanks for playing!

Awesome! Glad you managed to finish! Really appreciate you soldiering through with both hands lol. Yeah it was a throwback putting this together. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, there's some issues with hit detection sometimes when enemies get close that I didn't fully catch from play testing. I am glad you found it enjoyable despite some of the bugs!

Haha, well thanks for playing! Glad it gave off threatening vibes, but hope you didn't feel too threatened!

Thanks for playing! Glad you found it cinematic! Yeah with more time I would've liked to have had like that Time Crisis cover / reload system, but some kind of auto-fire would've been a quicker iteration.

Great! That's what I was going for, so glad you think so! Thanks for playing! Really enjoyed your game btw, felt professional!

Thanks for playing! Yeah it was fun to make, heavy use of AnimationPlayer, so got a lot of experience there I didn't have before. I agree on the stop distance, would've been an easy win before submission but had to call it and submit. Next time I just need to be done earlier in the jam.

Dude this game is a vibe. Genuinely enjoyed the chillness of flying through space killing animal people who helped me, made me shed a tear. The music is really chill and cool. That's really interesting you used an AI to generate this song, thanks for mentioning that, I'd like to look into it. Very impressive. Good job getting through GDTV Kaan's class, he's a great teach, hope you continue the GameDev grind!

I played it! I beat all the monsters! Great art, that's really cool you got a layered parallax background set up, really sets this project apart. Music is very fitting. Good job getting a robust character controller together with attacking, jumping, dashing, hp, etc. and enemies, it's a lot of work! I think it would have been better to allocate some time for more polish, even if that meant cutting a little on the player controller tuning and features. I like the size of this guy's spoon! Thanks for fixing the build, glad I got to check it out. It was fun.

This game looks really cool, I like the filter? effect on the screen. Great pixel art. Really cool background, liked that you added the bird flying around. Very cohesive theme between the SFX and art style. Its funny that you keep getting hats the more you win, very cute. I like that it caught me cheating when I tried to just hold block! Good programming. The gameplay is just solid, simple, and fun. This is a great game!

I like the robot ducks, they're cool. Great job on the art, nice variety of ducks. What is the other animal floating in the water? I think if you draw the duck as white you can quickly create other colors using materials or something in Unity to randomly select other colors to have a lot of variety for little effort. The SFX is adorable, like for the robot duck. Good stuff, hope you manage to finish the demo.

This game is adorable. Love the silly story, very creative and fun. Great art, that's actually amazing you animated an intro scene with dialogue text. Snake running on legs is funny. I was having trouble at first getting over some of the animals, but I realized I had to USE THOSE LEGS for that SPEED! Great job!

I really like the polish you put into the intro of the game and the game over part. I like how the ship animates into the planet and also takes off. Also the end screen displays a lot of stats in a themed menu, very cool. Was very chill despite the monsters coming for me lol, I liked mix of backgrounds and music. I am actually curious how you decided on the size for the background images, if you just scaled them up to suit the game or wanted to use a certain style / size? Astronaut with a hat is cute. Overall good vibes.

140 seconds! Great job! There is a lot of polish and love here that shows! Great art and awesome simple gameplay! It was cool that you even included a one-handed mode, very thoughtful. I really enjoyed playing your game I got hyped when I was getting swarmed. I really felt like I was the last egg after reading the story. I really really liked the screen wipe between rounds.

Great job with the art! Very cute, I like all the undead smore ingredients. I also like the border decorations, has a cool shoot'em up vibes. I think the backstory of a necromancer reviving dead smore ingredients is very creative, cute and funny.

The main mechanic is very clever. It is super simple but used in a lot of ways, liking breaking the vent and also grabbing things, that's really cool. I like the overall silly premise, and the guy's slippers. Good choice of music, gameplay including things like SFX feels well polished.

I got a B! Nice job, I like the setting. I like the silly SFX that plays when you rescue soldiers. I liked the first person view for the chopper when I eventually tried that it felt cool lol. Don't forget to call a function to hide and lock the mouse into the game, I had my mouse going off into my second monitor. Good job on designing the environment, some nice variety there.

Wow! This is amazing! Very impressive you did this solo. Great job implementing turn based combat AND a store with an upgrade system! A lot of personality, great use of music and SFX, very creative use of story and art. Genuinely fun silly experience.

Great job with the art and aesthetic. Great music, really fits, very boppin'. Watching the cat go round is fun and relaxing. Very cute. I like that you guys got ambitious and the vision here, but looks like a lot of cool features did not make it, but that's jammin'. I enjoyed the vibes.

Feels good man and looks like a game jam game to me. I like your levels. I know these assets are used in some GDTV courses, so if by "shitty" you mean you like didn't make art or code stuff, there's a lot more to it... you need to design levels and even just uploading to a platform for others to play is an achievement. Celebrate the little wins bro. There are shittier games. Great use of SFX, I felt victorious.

Victory!!! The 2D pixel art style in a 3D world looks really cool. Good job on the character controls, feels good to move and jump, there is an issue sometimes with the melee attack not coming out? This is a genre I am interested in making a game in sometime, I am curious what your experience was like working with 2D in Unreal? Good job jamming!

The bunnies on the Godot Drones is adorable. Overall aesthetic is funny, with the rifle and bright green environment + drone bunnies. I like that you are taking the time to take GDTV courses and use what you've learned there in a jam. It is good practice.

Cool man, this was definitely cozy. Really impressive visuals, I'll have to check out the GDC talk, I'm curious what exactly you did to achieve this look. I also need to finally play A Short Hike lol. Good choice of music. I like the wind particle and the ocean. I like that your penguin can fly.

Haha, thanks for playing. Sorry about your finger! It was challenging to find the right enemy balance.

3D assets with 2D gameplay is an aesthetic I enjoy. I felt cool jump kicking a laser shark. Music really matches the zaniness of the game. Good SFX. Great you got a persistent scoring system in to compare each run. I think you could have had some easy-wins visually if you played more with lighting / lights. I enjoyed the hectic-ness of your game.

I like that you have a variety of music to play for each round. I also like the SFX of the crowd cheering in-between, that's a nice touch. Also just the polish of a crowd there watching is good. I would like to see a little more "fighting" to get the chair, like some physics to push each other or the chairs around more. Good job making a solo entry!

Woah, hit me with the nostalgia. Solid mini-game. Good job programming some AIs to play. I have not heard of GBM2K so thanks for introducing me to that.

I like ice cream. And I like this game! Good job incorporating several assets into a cohesive game. Very fun dialogue, story and vibe. I like that the giant frog village involved a lot of jumping. I wish I could have chosen my ice cream flavor at the end :)
