Looks fantastic but I didn't really feel like I was deducing anything. I clicked on a character to possess them, picked a room and then there were some symbols in the room that when I clicked on them filled in the sheet on the right, no idea what the symbols meant or why there were 2 columns. Then when I picked them all up, one character had no symbols and they were the killer.
I loved the idea of the game, which is why I picked it out after rating over a hundred other games and feeling drained and so sick platformers heh, but there wasn't really much "game" for me, there was no strategy or risk, you could possess as many times as you want, move rooms as much as you like and any "deduction" was done for you.
You put something together that looks really nice but it lacks that detective feel that you get from cluedo
Just watched your stream of you playing your game (can't do PC downloads).
Looks adorable :), and a great game set up.
Great job! :)
Good fun game, nice art style and looks like a lot of work.
I played a couple of times but I'm still not sure, should there only be 1 empty box at the end or do you still have to take a bit of a guess. I found that there were like 4 or 5 boxes still empty at the end. I might have to watch your stream to see the experts play :)
Great Game! To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing for the first few minutes, but I realized what I was supposed to do eventually and was able to win. It is quite an interesting idea, each character has limits to the rooms they can go into, which makes you have to possess different characters. I played through it several times. The only thing I would say is that I wish that the reaper was in every room or that there was a button to go to a separate room. Other than that, I had fun playing the game :)
Nice Cluedo inspired take on the theme. Cool concept. Nice work!
Very interesting take on Cludeo. Great to see a board game like Jam entry! I got the killer on my first try, was super happy. :-)
Good start for a fun puzzle game. Next is to add stuff like having them saying random quotes to add to the enjoyment.
What a cool little game of deduction. A nice cartoony style to it too. Caught him red handed.
Short and sweet, good game and cute art style.
Oh my, i love deduction games :D
Had a lot of fun discovering all the little details inside the rooms. Very nice character design too!
Eventhough the rounds were short i still had a lot of fun and played multiple rounds (oddly enough the priest was the culprit in 80% ;))
I'm looking forward to see you work on this even after the jam!
ps: pls add an exit button :D
Should there be an exit button here? :)
Game nice and fun.
Nice art! Good Job.
Hi, I noticed your submission is missing source. Your source is everything someone needs to download your game, open it in the game engine, and hit Play to play the game. Here is an example of the files to include: https://github.com/icepol/DeathIsOnlyTheBeginning
Hi, thanks for the warning! I do have the Source listed though - it's the google drive URL. Does it not work for you? I have it set to anyone can View. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14tYnzQwzud3HDrtW8Fb_jRJvnH3lyK85?usp=sha... I can fiddle with some settings if it still isn't working.
It's working now :)
I really loved the feel to this game, Great work!
