You have a README which is great, but you'll need a License file as well (these are two main criteria for open source category). I would also make the title of your README the name of your game. Add some screenshots to spice it up a little.
I enjoy a full window by default game. I really like the background and background texture (nice touch!). Great game, lovely animations, nice sound effects, add some chill vibes music and this would be great. This is definitely too intense for me at this time of day though. Maybe you could start it with smaller letters and grow bigger and bigger, however that would be harder to solve. Well done.

My pleasure, by "smaller letters", I meant smaller triangles. Ie. start with a triangle that is only three letters each way and not four, then grow bigger, so you end up with massive triangles of say 10 letters on each length... however I understand that's super hard to implement. It would be cool though for the next iteration of the game.

Actually, the way the game is designed, it can only work with four-letter words—because you need to be able to swap not just letters, but also three-letter blocks. Each letter must belong to one of those blocks. No other word length allows for that.
Yeah that makes sense... maybe my brain was just fried after playing so many games 😂. Great job again and loved the animation when the letters moved around.

Really nice puzzle game! Simple SFX that fit the overall atmosphere. Just don't get the connection to "Balance" in this case?

Well, with the restart button, would you also reset scoring? That would be cheating, because the idea is that you get credit for minimizing your moves. But if not, then what's the point? There's nothing special about the original state, it's just a random shuffle.
Probably you are right, I said that only because sometimes I mistakenly swapped some words or blocks and I had to swap them back, getting 2 more moves because of that, but I guess adding a reset or undo move encourages players to cheat.
Really cool and original idea for a puzzle game. The only thing is that I’m not entirely sure how it ties into the theme of the jam. Both the sound effects and the style seem great to me, great job!
