There's a README (you'll need to fill it out), and have a License file (main criteria for open source category).
Apparently there is sound, but I'm not hearing anything from the game. Wasn't quite sure what to do; if you leave it and only upgrade when you have enough, the game doesn't seem to change (ie. balance is always maintained). Good job on your submission.
Thank you for your feedback!
I'll make sure to properly fill out the README with gameplay instructions, features (including sound info), and how to play, so it's clearer for future players. I’ll also add a proper open source LICENSE file to meet the criteria.
Regarding the sound, it should be working — I’ll double-check the implementation and volume settings to ensure it's not being muted or misconfigured.
As for the gameplay balance: that’s a great point! The current mechanics do maintain a steady state if you only upgrade when affordable. I plan to tweak the progression and add more dynamic challenges or escalation to make the experience more engaging over time.
Thanks again for playing and for the helpful notes!
Anytime. Glad it was helpful, well done again on your game.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate your support—it means a lot!
Thanks for taking the time to submit 😊.
You are welcome
Did not see any point in clicking positive or negative, might aswell just wait for both to have enough for the upgrade.
would have understood the "balance" theme if there we a some kind of reward/punish for using the positive / negative, alas there were not.
If you continuously click on the positive button the game will end, and vice versa if you continuously click on the negative button.
I will do further development to make this game more fun and challenging to play. Thank you for your criticism and suggestions.
It is an idle game at its core, with a twist to fit the theme.
It probably lacks some depth and gets repetitive rather quickly for that reason, but it is a great foundation for further development, maybe add some more varied upgrades, maybe some that needs more positive rather than negatives so that you have to pay more attention to your balance, or maybe a way to earn in a certain way if you are balnced or imbalanced so that you have to micromanage, you should develop this further and see where this goes!
Thank you so much for your feedback! 😊
We’re glad you saw the potential in the game’s foundation. We agree that the idle aspect could be further developed by adding elements that enrich the gameplay—such as more varied upgrades, a positive-negative balance system that forces players to be more active in managing their strategy, or even special rewards based on certain conditions (such as when conditions are balanced or unbalanced).
Your feedback was invaluable and gave us lots of ideas for future iterations. We’ll continue to develop and explore deeper and more challenging gameplay directions. Thanks for trying it out and sharing your thoughts! 🙏
Do you have any specific suggestions for what kind of upgrades or micromanagement systems you’d like to see in future versions?
Sorry , im not into idle games maybe that's why , but i didn't found any reason to click .But if you tweak around , maybe random uneven resource generated and a max "distance" between positive and negativ , it could become a challenge . A light count in your head challenge and a reason to click. Manual scaling , so clicking either positiv or negativ , could make the random resource occur more often and the upgrade could be an alternating cost of negativ then positiv decrease in the random points. And there could be a second upgrade for a higher cost of either negativ or positiv that makes the difference between them greater , so the player has more room to make mistakes. I hope my thoughts are not unwelcome , it wasn't meant as critique , your game was maybe not for me but it made me think :) . I myself am not a great gamedeveloper yet so I have to work on my game , games also. Much room for development on my end so take everything I wrote with a grain of salt :)
thank for your advice, in the future I will make it more playable, more challenging and more feature to make it fun playing.
I found there was no real challenge since the + and - go up by the same amount so there was no need to balance it. Other than that it’s an interesting concept and with a bit of tweaking it’ll be a great game!
thank you, I hope it can be tweak to become great game.
found a bit of a scaling issue with it, it doesn’t fill the screen.
okay, I will check it.
