It took a while for me to figure out what I can do :). Even with the hints in the description it is quite difficult. Maybe you need to add something to get the player started easier. In general I liked the graphics and the effect, but maybe it was a bit too strong. I could sometimes barely read what is on the screen. The theme to stalk your crush might be a bit distracting for some people :).
I like the general idea of the game and I like games where you use a computer. I think it is a good start, but might need some further improvements. Anyway, congratulations to your game!
how much did you rate it?
Love the graphics!
don't forget to rate just saying
Already did :)
The game is unique, but difficult. I had to look at the description to understand what to do. The hints in the beginning of the game helps a lot, but they disappear too soon, making it difficult to understand what to do. I think I would add more hints to the game to reduce the difficulty.
It took a while before I figured out how to go to the Twitter account of the person I like, maybe increasing the contrast of the text and the background would make it easier.
With that said, I think the concept is cool. It’s like a mix of a detective game and a hacker game, trying to find the answer to all the security questions. Well done.
Was the game related to the jam's theme in your opinion? How much did you rate it?
I rated 3 in gameplay, because it was a bit difficult and some options were hard to find. I gave 4 in theme, graphics and music. The theme is interpreted different from many other games I’ve seen, but would love to see more power (hacking, harassement, or something else too maybe?) sfx and atmosphere music was good, but reminded me more of a horror game than a detective game. I gave 5 in innovation because I haven’t played something like this before.
Interesting take on the theme! Shame about missing the one line of code. I wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to be doing before the bug though either, so I would still include some sort of instructions in the page's description or something like that to help tell people what they should be trying to do to help guide them into the game.
i have already done that just scroll down to the page and you'll find the guide just a silly page made by me. The security questions are very hard to crack let's see if you can crack those
Nice visuals, the sound affects help sell the game setting. I think maybe use of the grainy old TV shader was a bit too heavy. Good game, congrats on finishing.
The game seems very good to me, I was not able to get to the end because when I click on the my twitter account option it shows me a unity error (I was looking to see if I should use something else but it seems that you can only advance there) , I was looking at the comments and it seems that I am the only one that happens to it, so it is a problem with my PC and not with the game, but as far as I could look at it, it seems like a good game with a lot of innovation (fun fact, I am 16 years old, just participating in this game jam, you are not the only young one XD)
Hey you can play the bugless version https://rishi14.itch.io/shes-not-into-you-bro-no-bug
Damn that was just a line of code missing a button reference fuck. Try out the bugless version if you are a kind soul and change some rating, damn I should've contacted end3r . And change the game's files on the very 1st day now it's not possible
It is showing that 7 people have played the bugged version
And only 2 bugless version
And 4 people rated the game today ): you know what I mean.
No, I'm going to leave the ratings of 1 in everything because I don't care, it's no joke, anyway the ratings were without taking into account the errors since I thought it was only happening to me, I'm going to play it again in that version, the only thing I think you could have added more to the game is a good suspense music to add more atmosphere
Can you tell me why you are not playing the bugless version?
EVeryone seems to understand my issue.
Why 1? Ok I understand everyone has different preferences.
And do you have dj playing in your os?
Some ignored my issue why guys?
bro, I think you didn't understand that what I wrote about not going to play the error-free version was a joke, I really liked your game, obviously I'm going to play the error-free version and I gave your game everything at 4 and 5 stars (except in audiovisuals, I gave it a 3 because I think you could have added suspenseful music), but really what I said in the other comment was that I had everything in a star and that I was not going to play the game without mistakes was a joke.
idea: pretty nice
visuals: pretty immersive
sound: nice
theme: powering into someone's account? that's pretty interesting
gameplay: ...oh...
I didnt understand what to do so i checked the page's "tutorial" which helped me till i reached the 6 question verification... I don't know what to put for any of these questions, and so I'm stuck at that part
(oh and by the way, you can pull the killogram menu up at any time and it'll stack on top of one another another..)
definitely a really good game tho, especially for someone aged 15, just a bit difficult to understand
You use Twitter to get hints for the answers.
Interesting atmosphere! I like being able to drag the screens around and the clicking sound effect is a nice touch.
Neat game!
Good puzzle game!
Hi!
I got to the private mode, was able to send a search request, and then everything is like in a fog :), this is something strange and interesting, but it makes you think and investigate. I'm not quite sure what the notebook is for, but overall it looks fun, congratulations!
First of all i think the graphic is great and the idea is very intresting. It's cool to hack things. That said i found the puzzles a little confusing. I found my self typing e click all the screen before figuring out some things.
The idea has potential, you only need to work on the gameplay and the puzzles. That's my 2 cents!
Great work overall.
The notebook is for writing potential answers hinted from Twitter.
The presentation (the crt-monitor effect) and soundscape (the old computer with its loud harddrive, the clicking,...) is excellent!
Also the atmosphere of the game. i really felt like an awful creep. brrrr.... :-)
The shaders and the SE are pretty good.
Tho I am already stuck on the desktop screen and the lack of visual hints does quickly put me off and makes me wanna move on.
I get you want to do the "THERE IS NO GAME" kind of thing and the lack of narrative and content does bore players quickly....
hey how much did you rate it?
The interface is great and I feel there is a cool idea and potential here. When I try clicking on private mode I am not getting any response. I think trying to get the player to make some leaps on their own is really cool but it's hard to know how much direction to give them. I hope you can expand on this game and will follow to see what else you make!
The private mode option has been fixed
For me was hard to understand this game. May be for this type games need some tutorial.

I made the game too difficult to make it seem you're hacking the account irl.
I added how to play in game's page.
You guys will have some clue.
