Good game. I liked the “fishy” audio lol. Wind direction mechanic was fun.

I really enjoyed this. Just couldn't quite get the speed. 7.8.. The rest I cleared

Yep, the speeder is quite hard to get, you really have to hunt it. Try staying at a harbor with the best sail, selling any fish to keep your ship as light as possible (yes, fish weight is considered). Then, wait until the wind is just right and GO where the wind blows! 8.4 is the highest we could get

AHAHHAAH FISHYYYYYY!!

Really good job with the game, innovative and funny to play!

Hallo,

Thank you for sharing your game. I’ve already saved its RATING;

1. verified: GAME due to verifying SUBMISSIONS LIST with keyphrase: FISH

2. observed: to have almost stopped from verifying actual GAMEPLAY after reading keyphrase: “sell”, due to appeared to be GAME that shall need noticeable TIME to PLAY; remembers: self to have preferred Command & Conquer RED ALERT#1 (PC), instead of select strategy games, e.g. Civilization series (PC), at the TIME; opted: to read reviews and explanation guides for such games; adds: continued with verifying GAMEPLAY IF shall be QUICK

3. observed: WIND to CHANGE in the opposite direction of its current direction after a noticeable set of TIME to cause self to already prepare to move ship’s SAIL based on the incoming direction

4. notes: background musical tune appears learnable, albeit self shall need additional TIME to cause tune to be also CLEAR; adds: sound effects, e.g. voice-overs of “FISH”, to also exist; observed: self to noticeably note the selling of FISH sound effect, due to causes self to continue with such ACTION;

5. verified: GAMEPLAY to reach upgraded HULL (*1) and SAIL (*2); adds: self continued after upgrading HULL due to notified of reaching its MAX, causing self to classify END GAME STATE with WIN status appeared to be near;

6. opted: to STOP after achieving Admiral (2/2) Status; adds: FISH kg COUNT to remind me of GOOGLE PLAY's color combination;

Thank you. Health

omg I thought "fishy" noise is gona become annoying real quick but it didn't, I just kept smiling :)
Really nice work!

The wind felt very nice and hearing FISHY surprisingly didn't get annoying lol. Well done!

"FISHY!"
Love the "fishy".
Love the wind mechanic.
Well done on theme!

FISHY!

Good game) I liked that there are several goals that you set for the players to achieve them. It creates a certain excitement.

I did not immediately understand that the arrow shows the direction of the wind, because of this I swam sooooo slowly several times)

great gameplay! I got stuck a couple of times - would have been nice to have the option to accelerate on our own.

Really liked this game, reminded me of a mobile game I used to love. My only gripe is the lack of any sort of upgrades that let you go "into the wind" (e.g. Oars). It was super frustrating wanting to dock for upgrades and getting stuck just outside the town limits waiting minute after minute for the winds to blow the right direction.

Nice to see you like our game! It helps to take in the sails when the wind comes from the opposite direction. We wanted to make the controls a bit challenging, so that you really have to find some tactics to sail where you want.

Really fun game, good job

One of the most round entries for me, I really enjoyed the craving to get the achievements, and also the relaxing mood of just going for fishy fish. The gameplay and physics of the wind, feel quite polished. The music is amazing and the sound, well, what to say, it's fun at first but never gets too repetitive, so you get used to it easily. Good job!

I like fishing for compliments ;D
If that is a soundbite of you saying Fishy then bravo! The variety of the Fishy sounds made it even better as such a repeated sound can easily become monotome but here it just kept being fun.

Very well done !

Developer

It is! The fishy sounds and the sound track are made from scratch by us. Nice to see you like it!

I really enjoyed playing this. The boat controls and upgrades were fun and I now have "fishyyy" stuck in my head haha.

Nice idle game. I had some issues with the UI / understanding what to do, but overall a nice atmospheric game.

Developer

We tried to include some instructions at the start of the game and also made some effort to make it clear what to do in the game without a wall-of-text-tutorial. Glad you enjoyed the game anyway!

I like it. I got a little dopamine hit every time it said "fishy". Nice idle upgrade game. It's always challenging finding the right pace for jam games. We want people to see all the content, and we know they have a lot of games to review, but you don't want to make it too short or too easy either. Well done.

I wish my family was as nice as this fish! Super chill and atmospheric, everything works together perfectly. Thank you for adding the goals, makes you work towards something. In case you plan on continuing to work on the game, I've noticed that highlighted shop (the distance meter) does not always show the closest one.
Why did the fisherman stop playing violin? Because he was all out of tuna.

Developer

The achievements actually were a last-minute-thing. We added them just barely before the deadline. Very happy you like them 😀
