How does you game fit the theme?
You are stuck in a simulation and simulation aren't real but this one do somehow and you can interact with it, that make it special and even less realistic.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, and I even learned all that in the 7 days periods. That was the first time I made a labtop game.

Wow very impressive for your first game, in such a short period as well! I think it was a great/clever interpretation of the theme :) I found it a little difficult moving around, but maybe I just didn't have the trick down!

But yeah, overall nice work :D

Developer

Thank you so much! 20 rates now. I really appreciate your comment and I completely agree when you say that it is hard to move around, if I redo the game I would improve that.

Submitted

Took a while to understand how to navigate around and it is brilliant that you take reality case as part of your game (beware of your actual surrounding when playing VR/AR). Not sure it's from my part, but it would be nice to have some catchy BGM added into the game

Developer

Yeah, I would have add some music if I knew how, I had not much time to learn and create the game  so I rush the last day to make something playable. Thank for the feedback!

Submitted

at first it is difficult to understand but the concept is very interesting

Developer

I really understand your point, I would improve the understanding of it if I continue to work on it. Thank for the rating!

Submitted

Hard to understand and my brain hurt at points, but an interesting idea that with some polish could make a really fun game. Congrats on learning and finish the project!

Developer

Thank a lot! I just miss your testing on Twitch from 10min.

Submitted

Great concept. Unfortunately there are really easy ways you can soft lock yourself.

Developer

I didn’t know that, I know it is hard to understand and maybe hard to understand why we get stuck but I didn’t know there was place like that. For sure this isn’t a perfect game at all because of the time limit but I might need to spend more time on playtesting next time. Thank for the feedback.

Great game and it could have been even better if it was a little less dry, the problem is that there is not much visual and auditory feedback, for example the interaction with the enemies are not very striking, when you kill an enemy there is no visual feedback, screen shake, animation, etc.... . Adding some would make the elimination of the enemies much more rewarding. I advise you to go and see the conference "Juice it or lose it" which could help you to improve the feeling of the game.

But anyway good job :)

I'd appreciate it if you want to try my game too, I'm with some rates :D

Thanks!

Yeah... I know what juice is... I know what a great game should look like but I made this game in total 24h and it was my first time doing a game. I would totally improve it if I could, making it easier to learn, better to look at and more interesting. I have so many ideas, but not much time. I will try your game tomorow. Thank!

Really impressive. Top marks for theme. Really clever use of the world switching mechanic.

Developer

Thank you so much! Really appreciates it! I will definitely make other game, maybe I will continue to work on this one. I will go check your.

Wow, this is super neat! I was a little confused at the beginning and I kept going in and out of the simulation. After a while I realized it's like you are in VR in your room lol. Great job.

Developer(+1)

Thank! I understand why you had some hard time understanding but I am glad you had fun!

Absolutly loved the idea! Wished it would have been longer :)

This mechanic can make for very interesting puzzles. cant wait to see what you make with it if you decide to iterate on it.

Great work ! especially of a first game :)

Developer

Thank! I really appreciate it! I will look for making it linger but have so much idea for new game that it will be later.

Developer

I will do! Thank for the rate and the comment!

Submitted

Very cool puzzle mechanic. Never seen anything like this before.

Developer

Thank! That is very appreciated, I didn’t know this was so innovative. I  like to know that.

Submitted

yo nice man, that is some interesting mechanics you got there. a little hint on how to play would be appreciated but after knowing the concept the game become real interesting.

Developer(+1)

Thank for the comment! I know the game is hard to understand, in fact I just started game dev with this jam and I only worked 5 days on the 7 so I quickly run out of time, I am happy you like it, I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to submit something. I will go rate your game too.

The concept of this game is so interesting!

Developer

Thank!

Developer

I f you are stuck: you can only move in the game if you don't hit a wall in real dimension

Submitted

I don't know if there is a secret mechanic somewhere or I stuck, hah. Although, it's still a nice entry, congrats ;)

Developer

You can not move in the game when you are moving into a wall in the real world

Submitted

I really liked how it looks, and I'm very impressed that you learned how to make this in just 7 days!

Developer

Thank! I made game before on scratch or other little program but never challenged miself to do a "real game"

my game is better

I really like the crisp visuals and snappy controls, but was a bit confused on what to do at first. Overall, nice work!

Developer

Thank you really much, I know it is hard to understands, but it is a game jam so I didn't know how to improve fast. I am going to test out your game too
