How does you game fit the theme?
If you repetitively say 'There Is No Ghost' (repetitively tap space bar), the ghost is not a real threat to you

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all works are done by me with helps of Youtube and Google to assist me in programming. Pixel arts using Piskel and audio using Bosca Ceoil

This is a really funny gam,e, thank for it. I personnaly think it is a little too hard to always click on space that fast but it is a cool experience overall. Could you try my game too, I just need 3 more rate.

I like the concept quite a bit and it fits the theme very well. Just it would be nice if you didn't have to tap the space bar at the rate you currently have to. Maybe once a second would keep it high enough you still have to multitask but low enough it doesn't get tiring or frustrating.

I really think it is a nice idea to have the player multitask by letting him press spacebar all the time, but it would be a bit better, if you didn't have to click the spacabar at this rate ^^' Maybe you could make it a possibility for each player to pick the rate or something like that ^^'... Also it would be nice if there was any way to control the game sounds, because the Ghost was waaay to loud for me ^^' It is a nice game though so keep up the good work!

But is there a ghost? ;) My hand was tired after pressing space so often :P But I loved the concept!

Dropped a review, come give my game a try! :)

I thought the idea of having to press the spacebar to remind the player to repeat the phrase of the title was so cool! I think pressing on the spacebar a lot along with remembering the path of which doors you go through takes a lot of multitasking skill!

Interesting idea. I found that the rate at which you have to press space is way too much for me so I had to make a macro (I hope that isn't considered cheating lol).

Anyways It took me a while to figure out that the rooms had a layout because it all looked the same. Maybe add some decorations around each area so it's easily memorable what you have to do.

Anyways, nice game.

Interesting interpretation of the theme. I love it.

I would consider a piano tile type mechanic instead of repeatedly hitting the spacebar. Maybe the dialog animates, and the user only has to hit spacebar when it completes. This would help with fatigue.

I was also a bit confused about going into and coming out of doors. For a long time I thought nothing was happening because the two frames were very similar.

Great job for a 7 day project though :D Looking forward to seeing more!

I had a really hard time with this one.  Since I had no indication of where each door would take me, or where I needed to go in the first place, I found myself just wandering around trying to find the last key while spamming 'space' as fast as I could.  I really like the idea behind the "it's not real" theme, but I think changing the space mechanic to be something different (ghost get's too close, or starts making sounds) would make it much easier to play though the game.  I had to give up when my arm got tired :(

The sound gave a good ambiance to the game though, and I love the pixel art :)

I am not a skilled space bar tapper. So I couldnt play... BUT I really liked the art and the idea. I had something similar but I couldn't end up with a good cycling. I tried to play several times and I wonder if it has an ending

Good arm trainer, spacebar hitting skill increased

Personally, I had a little trouble with hitting the spacebar fast enough, and I wasn’t a fan of having to spam it. Regardless it's still a great game and that jumpscare shocked me!

Submitted(+2)

Don't know if I'm just slow, but I can't spam the space bar that fast.

Same thing happened to me. I'm assuming OP created the logic in the update function, meaning it is called every frame. So if you have a better PC there are more frames, the function is called more times and gives you less time to press space.

Yeah I had that problem too

Very unique take on the theme hahaha!

simple but very easy to understand! great pixel art too. Well done!
