In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game uses the theme STRONGER TOGETHER in how these Cubelings creatures have different abilities which needs to be used together. But also that the Cubelings can mount/stack on top of each other to reach higher. Therefore being stronger together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything was made during the jam with the exception of the shaders/effects and sound effects.

Great game! I really like the art, and the puzzles are fun.
A very nice game, enjoyed it! One thing I’d add is an explanation that you can do wall-jumps, didn’t realize it first & got stuck on one of the levels. Anyways, great job!
Its a bug that you can wall-jump, as it is possible to solve all the levels with the abilites and stacking mechanic :|
Like the honking sound haha but i think you shouldnt make it full screen as it cut off some parts!
A good start for a puzzle game but I did have some issues. I can't seem to beat level 7. Those blocks in the middle are too high for me to shoot. I tried stacking both with the stacking button and by just jumping on top of my other cubes but I still couldn't shoot it. Maybe this is unintentional, but I really think you should make stacking more than 2 cubes a thing. It would also give you more opportunities for puzzle design as well! The music was also too repetitive. It has nice chord choice but it could really use some fleshing out. Maybe try a driving hi-hat line and a fun little bass line to give it more life but keep it more mellow and out of the way.
Thanks! You can stack more than 2 cubes simply by mounting to the bottom cube (main cube) in a stack, by pressing E when near it. Thanks for your feedback about the music too.
Nice game. But I agree with the other comments.
Quite Interesting puzzle platformer, very similar to my game in concept, but much better in art and graphics. I liked the levels as well. But I didn't know what's the ability of the green cube.
Awesome, your game is interesting as well. The green cubeling is just a dummy character which can play a sound when used.
A simple but good mechanic wich makes for a fun game.
It's simples and work. Art seen good. The control seen kinda confuse, like, something seen the ability sometimes work and other time don't. Beside that, good work.
Really liked the concept! I couldn't figure out how to decrease the size of the game, so I couldn't see a lot of what was going on.
I really enjoyed playing this game. The art is cute but the music got repetitive very quickly. The jump also felt a bit off thought I'm not sure why. Over all a great experience! Well done!
It would be cool if you could check out my game too and give it a rating. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/925013
Good idea! The game is fun to play and the graffics are simple but cute :D The jump sometimes feel a little bit strange
Liked the music and art, the game was a little confusing! Good job! I did like the airhorn cubeling though!
Cute little characters are fun to play with! Interesting ways of mounting and demounting to reach different platforms and also making sure that the correct cubeling is the one that reaches certain places! Demounting was always fun to use with the character jumping off!
Very fun and engaging. :-)
Cool character design! Love how they react when interacting with these little cubes! But there is one thing that confused me a lot. It takes me a long time to figure out how to complete level 6 and 7, and I believe my way was not the proper way. I actually found out these cubes can do something they are not allowed to do when sticking to the wall. For example, doing actions while jumping, and they can even jump on top of each other. I guess that's because the system treats the wall as the ground, so basically all these jump and actions I can only do while touching the ground. Another thing is jumping while sticking to the wall can make the character leave the screen! I guess that might be some friction issue. Overall nice job!
Thanks for your feedback. The ways you where supposed to solve level 6 and 7 was using a full tower/stack and then demounting the top one in order to boost it up and barely on to the top platform. This might have been the tricky part. As I have just realized, you are totally right about the fact that the walls are also treated as ground layers, this combined with the a bit to big ground check area might have been the reason you where able to other things when sticking to the wall. Again, thanks for your feedback.
Wow! I tried again and stacked them all up and reached the top platform! I actually thought about using a full stack and demounting the top one before but I couldn't make it work. The reason is that I always press "E" after I already stacked them up by jumping. Now I learned the proper way to mount. It's a lot of fun to solve the levels again using the right technique! By the way, welcome to rate my game!
Wow nice job, what an interesting idea.
Thanks!
This is a nice chill game, with interesting puzzles. The animations of the cubes are cool as well! Had some fun going through the levels, nice job!
