In what way does your game fit the theme?
The MallowMash need to work together in order to solve the puzzles. In that way, the player is only strong enough to win when they have all of the MallowMash under control..
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

very cool! it would be appreciated if you could rate my game as well, as I dont have 20 votes yet
I like the graphics and the sound effects, but I ultimately got stuck D: still a good game though :)
Speed up MallowMashes and add possibility to move camera through level and then it would be perfect ;)
As a music guy, I must say that it's an interesting concept for sure. The visuals are absolutely top tier, one thing I would say is that the game could get a bit better in terms of game feel, for what it is it feels almost too quiet and I understand that since the point is to match the pitches you can't really blast a loud track in the background at all times, but you could maybe add a bit more sound effects and maybe some lowpass background ambience so that it doesnt feel like a website but like a game. I think if you would continue to work on this game after the jam ends, you should make the levels much smaller but more of them, so you can feel the progression faster. Anyways, awesome game, these are basically just me looking too deep into it, keep it up!
The graphics are gorgeous! Sound, of course, is perfect. But the mallowMashs are a bit too slow…
i think if they don’t collide with each other, the gameplay could improve.
If you could leave a feedback for my game, would be great. Has it has no sounds, i apologize in advance
I like the execution, and the art is killer. A bit hard to know where the mellow should go, since i don't have absolute pitch.
A music building game!
Fun:
This is a very slow paced game, which to be honest, the average casual player is going to almost instantly peace out. But I think if you really enjoy music theory and trying to match pitches by listening to short tones, then this game will be great for you. I think fun level was dragged down by just how slow and clunky the controls were for manipulating the marshmallows. I really do like the concept behind this though and was really hoping to goof around with the mallows and create my own beats lol
Innovation/Theme:
You honestly hit high marks here because this was a very clever take on the theme. Combining mallows to complete a song was pretty brilliant. I just wish the implementation was stronger!
Graphics:
The games art style was very cute and cohesive. The menu was spot on and meshed so well with the rest of the game. There wasn't much to the game though, but what there was, was done well!
Audio:
The only things I got to hear were the circle sounds and the mallows voice. I think this area could have really been stronger, especially if you had a free mode where you could test your mallows and see what the song would sound like, even if you had the wrong order. I still don't know what the end song sounds like, and I wish I did! lol
Game Design:
I kind of have touched on this multiple times in the review. The strict and slow game play really reduced the amount of fun a player could have. But the base game you have, is really special. And I think you should keep advancing it and implement some quicker gameplay, better player feedback loops, and overall hook for the player to stay entertained. I could easily see this as a mobile type game. I hope you don't find this review offensive, because I really enjoyed the concept, and would love to eventually see a more fleshed out version!
I streamed it here:
Thanks so much for playing my game and giving such an in-depth review! It's definitely not offensive at all. I agree with all of your points and I'm working on making the game a bit more accessible to the average gamer. This seems to be my pitfall when making games since I very much enjoy slow-paced games like this. Thanks so much for playing and the feedback! Sorry you didn't get to hear the music, you can listen to it here if you'd like :
Awesome idea, great game and good execution! I especially like the cutesy visuals - I'm a sucker for colourful things :) Well done!
Its a vey nice game and I can imagine that is not so easy to manipulate sound in a game as the scope for its theme, as was stated in comments its a bit hard to get grasp of how things work but other than that is a very interesting game. Don't worry we all have bugs or things that we didn't end up doing maybe lack o experience maybe not enough time, but the purpose of those jams is to become better devs and learn how to manage our time and project when we have a deadline. Cheers!!
Very beautiful game and cool idea, i just couldn't get the notes right sadly :(
I was very excited to play this game because I am trying to study music theory and I like it very much. I just wasn't understanding how the game works. I tried walking alls the square to the circles. And tried playing but nothing happened maybe I'm stupid lol. You did a great job anyways!

Really interesting concept but the levels are just too long and the movements too slow.. I love the minimal art! Good job!!
I had difficulties, maybe i'm just dumb, or this thing is really really hard, because i don't think I had a single one right... Looked cool though!
Very fun and intresting game, but it is hard to move up and down on bars.
