The idea is really nice, however the controls and behaviour of the pieces is sometimes really hard to handle. I think that if you would polish the design of the levels and how the puzzles attach/detach, this could be a really nice project. Don´t get me wrong, you did great job!

Statisfying to play. I love how the puzzle pieces behave, fall of, detach, attach etc... good job :D

Very cool mechanics to apply the theme. I liked that there are multiple ways to attach the puzzle pieces which makes for very interesting puzzle designs.

I liked the very satisfying visual when attaching two pieces together. The are style is very cute and simple.

If you have a chance please provide feedback on my game.

Your game looks super fun, unfortunately, I don't have a Windows computer so I can't play.

No worries :)

Lovely game! Love the graphics and especially the mechanics, snapping jigsaws together feels great.

What holds this game back is that detaching pieces is a bit buggy, in the image below the piece unfortunately got stuck on the wall with no getting it down, and in another level I trapped myself in a hallway with a line of pieces. And I'm sorry but I don't like how far back in the game backspace can send you.

But I do genuinely like this game, I think you all did a fantastic job and got a great game concept! It's just such a bummer that these collision problems are holding it back from being truly great.

Developer(+2)

Yes we're aware of these bugs. The backspace is the way it is because we built scenes without forseeing bugs and such, and implementing a reset checkpoint for every entity for every scene would've been a buggy mess. It was also a time constraint. We're working on making the game more accessible difficulty and polish wise. Thanks for trying it out and rating though!

I see, thank you very much for the reply.

I overall liked this game. The music and the visuals i really good. The controls and some of the puzzle could perhaps use some polish/changes, but it's okay for a jam game. Overall a good and interesting jam game. Well done.

I really like the concept and the art, but I got stuck twice and couldn't reset.

Developer

Pressing delete resets the stage you're on. I'm glad you liked the game though.

Great work, super smooth movement and implementation of the theme! :)

Great concept and a very strong take on the theme! I love the graphics and the music fits perfectly too :) In my opinion using backspace was way too punishing even though the sign warns you of it. It felt a little bit unfair because I got stuck by accident :( For things like that I would definitely prefer an "easy mode" with more checkpoints, but that is just a personal preference. Overall you did a great job, very well done! :)

Thanks for the feedback! It's now on the list of future changes

Love the design of your game! Haven't seen anything like it before. Was fun to play.

Would you mind rating our game as well?

Ask devWez to add you and your teammates to the collaborators list, that way your game would show automatically.

Thanks. Apparantly we forgot to check this.

Being the clumsy fools we are, we uploaded the game in 16:10 when we designed it in 16:9. This cannot be changed until after the voting period, but for now just know one of the levels has a lever in the top right corner that you can't see. If you can't figure out why you can't finish a level, that's most likely why.

Here's a version of the game with the fixed 16:9 ratio.  There is a list of fixes and proposed fixes in the description

Please play this AFTER you've rated the uploaded version and/or consider the misstep in your rating.

I really like the mechanics and the concept, i feel like you explored the mechanics well with the level design

Submitted(+2)

that was an innovative game, it was fun but there were many bugs that made it difficult to play, good job :)

Developer(+1)

We're currently working on patching the bugs (while also balancing school)

Submitted(+1)

good job ;)

Very interesting concept, really like the audio as well as the signposts, controls are a little fiddly to begin with(feels like the gravity is quite strong) and also arrow key support

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Unfortunately, we decided to exclude the arrow keys as not all keyboards have the same format, meaning the keys to rotate the piece wouldn't be intuitive to implement. (I loved ur game btw)

Thank you

Really interesting concept and original puzzle game which leads to interesting levels. However, I feel the difficulty gap between the levels a bit too big, moving from using one extra piece to five in a single level.  Other than that really good game!

I really like it, the charecter is adorable, i love the music, and the animations ere cool, but I was kindof confuesd about the main mechanic. Perhaps a more indepth tutoriel might help in future but besidedes that it was AMAZING!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! If the game's well received, we will implement clearer instructions after the voting period ends.
