In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player gains the ability to rewind time and defeat a time warper.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code is mine. I used some free tiles and sound effects.

The bug is unfortunate but for a platformer project it's decent albeit rather bare. Some enemies or other abilities would've been nice to see. The controls weren't particularly tight or responsive either, and it seemed to have trouble dealing with slopes.
The concept is cool and the graphics are really good and cute but I think the execution was not as good as the idea. There is not much to do besides jumping and collecting the gems. Maybe adding enemies and different scenarios would make it better but still it would be just like any platformer out there. Try to implement a mechanic were you need to use your gems to rewind or to pass trough certain doors idk, use your creativity.
Anyway, it was a good game with good story but it is not very fun. Hey, try my game and rate/review it as well, I bet you would like!
Thanks for the feedback!
It's a shame there's a bug because the game was looking pretty interesting! The slide animation was pretty fun to watch :D
Really nice game, in my opinion the bug is hilarious. Could you rate my game, please? It'd be nice.
Thanks!
Congrats on yr submission! Sorry for the bug :(
Thank you!
this was pretty fun, i really loved the slide animation. Sorry to hear the ending bugged :C
Thanks! In the previous versions the player would just yeet off the slide which was pretty funny :P
Great job, the player sliding down animation works really well. Also, going for a story based game is difficult, but you did a great job.
Thank you!
Great art and sound enjoyed it a bunch!!
I enjoyed it, but I found the already mentioned bugs too. I'm actually looking forward for an update. Keep up the good work!
A good game, the story is a little bit confusing tho, a good introduction would have been helpful, still fun non the less. Hope you try mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722968
The game looks incredible!
Good looking game with fitting audio.
The platform design requires a lot of blind jumps due to the action being downward as well. Also dealing with the slopes was kind of frustrating.
I like the look of it but I'm not really getting what I need to do. I feel like I jumped in the middle of a story but never had the beginning explained even after escaping the monster guy.
sory , but maybe instructions on the start would help bcoz I really dont know what to do
You're fine! I do need to add some intructions.
Im sure plenty of people will comment on how confusing the objectives are. But I want to talk about sound design. The sounds are well chosen but for ambient noises they are played way to often and very heavily panned and loud. The only other thing is that the controls are a bit clunky at times. Great in concept but possibly could have been a few ajustments to make the experience a bit better.
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it and will try to make the improvements/fixes soon. Good point on the ambient sound, I was worried the volumes weren't balance, now I know and can work on it.
sorry man, but for me this is just a generic platformer with bad controls and a couple bugs
No worries, it was fun making it. I had a clearer idea in my head but never made a platformer before. I guess I tried too many new things at once. I'll implements the feedback and fix the bugs, soon hopefully. Thanks for trying the game!
The portal keeps laughing but I don't know what I should do.
Try pressing space :)
I'll improve on the visual clues and the UI.
