Certainly a fun and engaging game, well done!

(1 edit)

The game has a very intriguing atmosphere. Well done for making all the assets yourself!

Loved your take on the theme :D

Very unique artstyle and storytelling. Once I got familiar with the controls, quite enjoyed it. Well done!

A good game, well done! Addictive game mechanics but didn't feel safe in the dark :D

Really cute game, loved the story :) I have to agree with level designs needing a bit more work. Overall, well done!

Thank you! :)

Nice game, I like that the movement was smooth. An addition of visual/audial clues when the spacecraft hits the clouds, would give the gameplay a better feel, I think. Otherwise, well done :)

I really like the glow effects and the whole atmosphere of the game. Loved how it ended, well done!

Thank you!

Thank you!

First of all, well done everyone for completing the game jam!

I'm pretty new to game dev and would love some feedback on my game PlanetMap, a planet name guessing puzzle game with pixel art: https://minilemonsupreme.itch.io/planetmap

Very cool rewinding graphics, well done on the game!

Well done, I quite like the game and how you used the theme!

Thanks for the feedback!

Well done! I particularly liked chasing the ones that steal the key, great fun. Congrats on your first solo jam!

Thanks!

Loved the puzzles and how the theme is used!

Interesting take on the theme, I liked that! Though it's slow to start, it's a fun little game.

Well done on the game mechanics. I quite like the environment of the game. Good job!

I loved the character and environment design. The way the character moves, especially the jump, is really fun and the glowing effect is done very well. I found the movements to be smooth and easy to control. Well done!

Really good puzzles with good graphics, well done! I really like the "control all the objects at the same time" aspect of it.

This was great fun. It was funny and easy to get into. With some sound effects instead of music it might be easier to focus on the funny "monologue" and the puzzle. Other than that, the movement is smooth and I like the character design. Well done!

Really liked the option to look back, good idea to include it! The graphics work well together and it's fun to play :)

Loved the music, sound effects and the visual. It's an interesting concept with smooth gameplay. Well done!

Really cool graphics, and just overall well done! I really liked how "power goes out, causing a rewind" is introduced.

Good job! Loved the OP sword :P

Fun idea! I couldn't hear any sound. With addition of sound effects, improved UI (for example bullet count, navigation panels), it would be even better. It's a good challenge, so well done :)

Great fun! Loved the brief yet funny tutorial.

Loved the challange and the tense music!

Thank you!

Thanks! In the previous versions the player would just yeet off the slide which was pretty funny :P

Thank you!

You're fine! I do need to add some intructions.

Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it and will try to make the improvements/fixes soon. Good point on the ambient sound, I was worried the volumes weren't balance, now I know and can work on it.

No worries, it was fun making it.  I had a clearer idea in my head but never made a platformer before. I guess I tried too many new things at once. I'll implements the feedback and fix the bugs, soon hopefully. Thanks for trying the game!

Try pressing space :)

I'll improve on the visual clues and the UI.

Thank you! I was thinking what could be the issue and then someone else mentioned it to me: did you try pressing space? I limited the first few movements for story purposes. I'll  improve the UI and make some additions to the description soon. Sorry about this!

oh no! I am using Input.GetAxis('Horizontal') which takes input from WASD and arrow keys, or that's what I thought. I'll test more. Maybe the build settings somehow causes an issue. Thank you letting me know!

Thanks for playing! That's two bugs I really wanted to fix but ran out of time, sadly. This is my first game jam so not sure if I can fix the bugs in the submission anymore, but will definitely work on the code and upload an improved version.
