In what way does your game fit the theme?
After completing a round the player’s movement is “rewound” and played through a ghostly enemy, this will continue to iterate for every round.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all except the font, which was 100% free license.

Yo’ Templar here,
Very fun take on good old pacman, the only thing lacking is music and sfx, and maybe increase the speed of the player to make a round be little short.
Like the idea! maybe increase the speed of the player and the ghosts.
Really cool idea! I like the artstyle! Some music and sounds would be awesome though.
You´ve created a nice small game. It´s a cool idea to record the player´s movement and put it onto an enemy. After some rounds it gets really stressful. I´ve had a lot of fun playing it.
I´ve submitted a local multiplayer game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722755. I would be happy to get your feedback on it. :-D
I was gunna say "this is super easy but still pretty cool" then you added the ghost in.... now im saying this is really hard, but still pretty cool. great job this is a great game, I think the only thing I would like to see is the player stuck to a grid rather than free moving within the map.
Thank you, it’s interesting that you say that. I deliberated for a while on whether I should have free movement or grid movement for the player, the decision came down to the fact that I liked the way the player cornered around turns and you could “cheat” a little by grabbing the gem before registering that you left your tile for some possible skill play. But I will consider an option in the future settings menu that will allow the user to decide how they would like the player to move.
Very cool game, I didn't realise that the ghosts were created with your last play of the game. Such a cool concept that makes you appreciate more the game as a whole. Sound would have been great, but I understand that a lot of time was put into the code and assets.
Really great game, hope you had fun during the Jam!
This game requires more brain power than I can currently give it. A simple concept with excellent impact. The link to the theme is a little weak, but it's more innovative than just reversing the character. Plus. I gotta give you extra points for also having ghosts in your game. Like me.
maybe you didn’t understand what was happening, the ghosts replay your exact movement from the previous round. if rewinding then player back through his movements is thematic to rewind then rewinding the players movement through another object is no different. Also for added rewind value when the ghosts reach the end of their movement they continue in the reverse order.
Very good design, however the lack of sound has greatly impaired the experience! Maybe the labyrinths got too big, which made the levels very massive, but overall, it was a great job! Congratulations on the project!
the original plan was to have three different sized labyrinths to choose from for different challenges. However, I spent a bit more time than I wanted chasing a bug in the coroutine that replays the player’s movements for the ghosts(pretty much lost a day to it) but sound was last on my list of polish unfortunately just didn’t make it in time
Really cool idea! My only criticism is that the level is so big and the player walks so slow. Makes it feel kind of tedious at some parts, otherwise very nice twist on pacman!!
Nice idea! Game was pretty fun and challengeable at same time. Good job! Just music an audio.
This was an awesome game idea, I found it fun and somewhat challenging. A great homage to pacman. I was sure there would've been a bug but I couldn't find any so well done!
I would've liked some audio though, just to add to a nice atmosphere.
Fun idea. First level was bit too easy but I guess it works well as tutorial
