Good game! Really nice art-style. The colliders were a bit unpolished but it's okay. Keep working hard!!!
I would really appreciate if you could check out my game!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Time is rewound to the start of the players day.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote most of the code. The assets are from free asset packs from Kenney.
Really good game, it could use some audio, but besides that its a nice game
Good Work!
Ok. Solid entry for your very first jam. Too bad you didn't add any audio. I would continue development on this after the jam as this could be fun when polished up.
Could you please play and rate my game as well?
Game has good potential. Missing some polishing, like animation, music, sound effect, etc. I feel like if you would have had more time this could have been really cool!
Enemies have waaay too much health. SFX and music would be cool. I wish the game had animations. There is this glitch that you can go through the beedrom's walls. WHAT?!?! Nice game. Edit: a restart button would also be cool.
I'll tell you this, not only I used the same Kenney's assets you used, but also the idea of my game is really similar to yours, so, ya know, I mean, if you want to give it a try, I'm interested in your feedback.
Anyway, I like the idea (of course). From a technical point of view, I had some problems with the colliders, like the trees colliders where you have to take the sword. The game is short, but it could be interesting if you kept working on it post-jam. I think that you could have exploited your rewind mechanic giving more path choices, to give it more meaning for the player, instead of a one-way adventure (like, last time I did this, let's see what happens if I do this other thing and go this way).
So it can be improved by adding more variety to the gameplay, and it definitely has some potential. I notice the effort, good job!
I'm interested to check yours out. My inspiration was Minit, I knew I wasn't making the most original idea. I wanted to make it original with my own story with Interesting characters you could interact with. But I ran out of time for other characters and dialogue. Your idea of giving the player more paths is something I've been thinking about how to implement. Thanks for playing and the good feedback.
If there was a animations it would be better. But there isn't and I would really want to hear some sound effects.
I could see how this can turn into a fun minit-like game. It needs some more polish though, and I would have liked more interesting items and some more content in general!
Good job for your a first jam. I like the rouge-like mechanic to it. Camera movement was good. I ended up off screen some how when fighting the fire mage. Be cool if the player faced and attacked in the direction toward the mouse position on screen. This could help if you plan on adding range attack!
Graphics are great. This game could be an adventure. Nice job on the camera movements from area to area. I don't like the rewinding/time limit. Makes it stressful. I think you should keep working and expanding on this game without that. Nice job.
Really cool game! It reminds me of the game outer wilds. Wish there was audio and more feedback when hitting/being hit by an enemy. Best take on the theme I've seen so far!
I played it through and defeated the witch! I enjoyed the work on the camera, zooming in and out or shifting at appropriate times. It wasn't entirely clear where to go at the start, but the signposts were a good subtle indicator. Because the game was a bit short, the rewind mechanic didn't really work out in my case. I beat the witch with about 10 seconds left, so I didn't experience the rewind or what progress was lost/kept in that case. I did feel some urgency to complete in the time limit, however. Good job, keep working at it!
I like the camera movement. Not the most polished jam game I've seen (the house walls collider lmao) but it was actually super fun. I felt genuine pressure to get going. In the future, hopefully the repeating day mechanic can play a bigger role in the gameplay.
The basic idea is very interesting. More to interact with would have been cool. Like a puzzle or sth, so the player can gather more information each day to achieve the goal.
