A pretty cool puzzle game, it didn't take long to figure out how it worked and it worked pretty nicely. Maybe it could have used some basic background music. The only other suggestion I have is that the window was tiny!
Thanks for the review! Yeah I wish I spent some time on the music. Also, you can full screen the window lol.
Had an error on start:
hmm strange
Very interesting logic concept. I had fun with it when I could figure out the puzzles. I don't know if it was me or if there was something off about level 3. It seemed to not follow the moves I was performing. Maybe it was me, although I tried it enough times that I think it was the game, lol. Nice work on this one!
Well the game was doing what it was supposed to do, it’s just I did a really bad job explaining the mechanic lmao. Sorry about that. Thanks for the review!
Wow man! how many levels did you do? I am playing like for 15 minutes and havent finished yet. Anyway, great game!
Thanks! I did like 13 I think
Yo’ Templar here,
Cool puzzle game, the rewind mechanics of the movement lends itself for some interesting puzzles if you ever expand upon this, the art is a bit too simplistic to my liking and the window size is tiny which makes reading a tad bit difficult, there also should be a better explanation early on about the controls and movement.
Yeah I agree with a better explanation and art. you can full screen the game though lol
Really nice implementation of the concept. I think the only thing that would've been nice to explain better is that your moves are reverse. If you plan to expand this further, it would be really cool to have a move log and when you enter the the reverse portals it flips the arrows on the move log.
Thanks! I did think about adding an arrow log that flips but I didn't have time to implement it.
Well, if you want to continue. I would love to play it again.
Thanks! That really means a lot. I wasn’t thinking I would but maybe.
Really loving the idea of reusing movements but in a different situation/area in the puzzle. Good job!
Thanks!
Liked the concept. Feel like it could definitely benefit from some music. Liked the graphics but think that they could be improved upon. Apart from that though good job!
Thank you!
The game is ok I think but there was a game like this in GMTK Game Jam 2020 here is the link (I'm just saying, nothing wrong with the simularity).
The graphics are simple but nice.
Lastly I think you take the theme in a unique way then others like me and this is great. Good job!
The game fits the theme really nicely! It is also a very nice puzzle that I've actually enjoyed! Although the game lacks a couple of things (That's in genral, you probably wouldn't have been able to make all them in 7 days):
-- Some music is definitely needed. Would make the game a lot more enjoyable. Even some really simple songs would instantly make it better (for me at least)
-- Some arrows that show your movement and then reversed for better understanding of the game.
--Maybe a tutorial for introducing the player to the concept
--Adding new interesting mechanics throughout the game. Something I thought of: Blocks that can be pushed but which will block you if something is in the way or active enemies which are timed to your movements.
Overall the game is very interesting to play and I think if you work more on the concept you could probably release it on mobile.
Thanks a lot for this comment! I think the pushing block mechanic is a really cool idea. Also, the arrows that show your movement and then reverse is actually something that I really wanted to do. I just couldn't figure out how to do it in such limited time. I agree that music would be nice too. I tried to make music that would fit but I couldn't come up with anything good. And yeah a better tutorial would have been a good idea too. I really appreciate the comment. It means a lot to me I'll be sure to check out your game when I have the time!
It was really hard (or I just didn't understood it) I honestly couldn't beat the forthlevel after like 20 minutes (this might just mean that I'm absolutelly stooooopid xD)
But yeah - I liked the concept and simplistic yet good looking graphics :D
Overall "darksouls of rewinding time games" or something like that XD keep it up :D
Thanks. Probs should have made a better tutorial. oh well. Thanks for the review
Frustrating, good job on that haha I really liked and the result is very solid. Rating done!
I would appreciate feedback on mienif you like, thanks!
I appreciate the comment, and I'll be sure to check out your game!
cool use of the theme. nice and simple to understand mechanics. would appreciate a rating back if you can.
Thanks!
Very fun and interesting design! Glad to see another GODOT game! Would you mind playing and rating mine?
Yeah sure! Thanks for the comment!
Great game, nice audio.Really good use of the theme!
Thanks!
Challenging and fun!
Am I too tired or the rewind mechanic is on random every restart? I mean the mirrorring of movements.
Nope its just the exact opposite of your inputs. It's kinda hard to understand though and see whats going on. Thanks for the comment!
Is the level with two reds in separate rooms possible? You need to go down, right, right, down, right but I don't see how that's possible... Anyways, good logic puzzle.
Yeah its possible lmao. Thanks for the review. I can tell you the answer if you want.
amazing game well done. i see you are a godot fan too.
Yeaah Godot for the win!
cool game it has an interesting mechanic for rewinding
Thanks it means a lot!
