Good game sadly you didn't have the time to polish it. Well done

Beat it on the first cycle, that was fun. A bit slidey.

[joke]Love the sound[/joke]

Would you mind having a look at mine? I'm short on rates :(

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it. I'll check your game out

Good job for your a first jam. I like the rouge-like mechanic to it. Camera movement was good. I ended up off screen some how when fighting the fire mage. Be cool if the player faced and attacked in the direction toward the mouse position on screen. This could help if you plan on adding range attack!

Graphics are great. This game could be an adventure. Nice job on the camera movements from area to area. I don't like the rewinding/time limit. Makes it stressful.  I think you should keep working and expanding on this game without that.  Nice job.

Really cool game! It reminds me of the game outer wilds. Wish there was audio and more feedback when hitting/being hit by an enemy. Best take on the theme I've seen so far!

"Best take on the theme I've seen so far!" WOW best feedback so far thanks lol! means a lot.

Audio is number 1 priority for an update I'm planning.

Yeah you deserve it! Good job!

Really cool concept! I think there's a lot of potential here, the controls could have been a little more clear and I kind of think it would be cooler if movement was a bit more rigid and "zelda-like" but overall nice work!

I played it through and defeated the witch! I enjoyed the work on the camera, zooming in and out or shifting at appropriate times. It wasn't entirely clear where to go at the start, but the signposts were a good subtle indicator. Because the game was a bit short, the rewind mechanic didn't really work out in my case. I beat the witch with about 10 seconds left, so I didn't experience the rewind or what progress was lost/kept in that case. I did feel some urgency to complete in the time limit, however. Good job, keep working at it!

Thanks! great constructive feedback

I like the camera movement. Not the most polished jam game I've seen (the house walls collider lmao)  but it was actually super fun. I felt genuine pressure to get going. In the future, hopefully the repeating day mechanic can play a bigger role in the gameplay.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it even with the collider issues. I had to cutback a few things due to my beginner game dev knowledge and running out of time. I'm planning on fixing and improving it as soon as the voting period ends.

The basic idea is very interesting. More to interact with would have been cool. Like a puzzle or sth, so the player can gather more information each day to achieve the goal.

Developer

that's a good idea. Thanks for playing.

The game movement was smooth. There were the collider issues that others noticed, but not too big of a deal as it does not break anything. Would have loved more interactions with people, pets, etc. Overall nice work,

Developer

thanks for playing and good feedback! More interactables is definitely something I will be adding once the game jam is over.

I love the graphics and the idea, but it would have been nice with some sounds. Great job though!

I win! I like the concept of trial and error with the countdown timer. I spent my first day walking around the town trying to hit things with my new sword. GG

This kinda reminds me of MINIT, nice submission!

Fun game, love the overall design, and cool concept. I enjoy playing it! :)

But the colliders feels a bit off and there is a bug with the Wizard's wall, i just disappear when i hit the walls. But it's still a good game and glad that you submitted it.

consider rating and give feedback to my game.

I wish if you added music and/or sound effects to the game.  Good job btw :)

Developer

thanks. Yeah I wish too but I left it too late and ran out of time.

Really cool, the time was very well put! The colliders of the monsters felt a bit off (but maybe it was just me)

Developer

thanks for playing and the feedback.

Honestly i had a lot of fun. I couldn't beat the witch though, she was pretty tough. I did have a solid giggle though when i walked out of my house into infinity :P

Developer

thanks for playing. I did worry about the witch being a bit too hard when I uploaded, but glad you had fun :)

Wow this was super fun!  I really like the timer idea and the way the camera zoomed in and out was awesome.  I actually beat the wizard/witch first try yay! This idea is clever, you should keep working on it!  Great job submitting to the jam, and I hope you learned a lot of new things!  If you have time, please check out my entry :D

Developer

thanks for playing and enjoying it! I'll check out your game
