In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player rewinds the cogs to reverse the direction of platforms, and another reason that won't be revealed until the end.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and made all the art myself. Some sound effects were used from Freesound under the Creative Commons licence.

Excellent game. I like every aspect, only thing is sometimes the character doesn't jump when it is pressed, usually close to other objects. Maybe something with the collision mask.

One of my favorites in this jam. The graphics are amazing. The fades are awsome. And there is a little story behind the game. Loved it! Good job!

This is a truly amazing game, neat character, good animation and feedback, the movement felt like a really good fitting for the character, the platforming and rewinding did a really good job as main mechanics and introducing rotating ones and water helped keeping it fresh. The end was a really nice surprise. Really good job with this one.

i am amazed by the amout of polish you put into this game, im talking about all the sounds effects, little animations camera shakes, the end level transitions . its incredible how u managed to create a mood with so many little things, the movement of the character feels great bc of all this, in other case it would have felt kinda slow but u managed a great work there, great level desing and how u implemented the mechanics, loved the art style, music and all sound effects, one of the best ive played so far around this jam.

Amazing game! Loved everything, the art is beautiful, the BGM is great, the story, simple yet amazing! At first I thought the game gonna be linear, but the puzzle elements manage to keep the game fun.

One minor problem that I encounter is if you keep pressing horizontal input in the side of platform, the character won't fall. But overall, I really like this game, and definitely should keep improving in the future σ(^○^)

The levels are really fun, the death cutscene was really funny! I initially thought that the winding of the cogs would get boring or repetitive after a while, though the game managed to stay engaging by adding light puzzle elements to the levels, which I found to be really enjoyable. I loved the way in which the game restarts by rewinding time. Nice one!

Really nice! I love that death effect haha. The level design is really simple but good, and it adds unique mechanics! I think the biggest thing for me was that the music was a bit simple and  (it sounded like) it looped pretty quickly (Although thats the same with my game).

Overall, really nice job!

Nice one! I loved the idea, the art and the gameplay, even though I would have liked the old guy to move a little faster. Also, sometimes he would get stuck on the sides of the platforms or the wooden blocks.

Amazing game. Controls feel amazing. Art fits the theme perfectly. I loved that fall effect.

The game was really cool and i learned a lot on how to make the controls feel better because i made a lot of mistake in my platformer game

Amazing game! so cool concept. I just wish there were more levels though :(

What a lovely game! Wish you add more level after the Jam. Very well and clean design. The difficult ramp is perfect. The puzzle design fair. Not to easy, not to hard, just perfect.
Also love the effect when the poor old man falls. IMHO that's the kind of small details that makes a great game.
Congratulations!

Please if you have time, try mine :)

The artsyle is really good. I really liked the puzzles, not really difficult but not that easy either. I'll say it really hurt me everytime I fell, hearing the old man fall was painful lol

Developer

Thanks! The falling was meant to be more comedic than painful haha

Not sure what to tell you what a million other people propably haven't allready.

The game impresses in both quality and quantity right now, its nuts that all of this was achieved in about a week.

The sprites are great, the impact on land satisfying [though i feel the sound is a bit too ear ringing on short drops / hops], the death sequence is eery, the ending just wonderfully timed.

Though I have to wonder why a clocktower would have so much water running through, or is it rainwater leaking in?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Oh, and don't question the water...I obviously didn't when I made it haha
