How does the game fit the theme?
You direct mice in a way to get biscuits, but you only have a set amount of biscuits, so there's a decent bit of risk involved!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sound effects were taken from the internet.
How many people worked on the game?3

Haha love the menu item for squeak. I think something that allows the player to understand that the crumb aspect moves a certain amount of tiles could benefit it. Love the name of the mouse. It is adorable. Nicely done!
Great puzzle concept! You were able to do a lot with only a few basic building blocks on a 5x5 grid. I liked how each new mechanic was paired up with a level to force you to understand some rule about that mechanic. The only one that felt a little unintuitive was the spike behavior for specific on/off timings; some of the solutions felt like my mouse ought to get spiked, but survived anyway. Maybe this is a consequence of some mismatch in animation state vs. internal puzzle state? Otherwise, the tricky puzzles were all rewarding to solve. The one with the yellow biscuit on the teleporter in front of the red rat had me stumped for a bit, but I think that just makes it my favorite of the bunch. Kind of love it when you're asking yourself if the devs accidentally made the puzzle impossible before reaching that key insight.
Really fun! Awesome job!
Nice game! The atmosphere was wonderful and the visuals and audio match perfectly! I loved how on the title screen you could poke the mouse (with your mouse that looks like a mouse lol) and it would react. I also love their names! The squeak button is a funny addition too!
I was very confused at the start though and only figured out how to play from another comment, but even now, I still don't quite understand the specifics. I knew that a big crumb was better than a small crumb, but gameplay wise I was unsure what it meant. Did it mean the mouse would follow it extra spaces? or prefer it to the small biscuits? I also felt the goal was unclear. Was I trying to get all the biscuits? Just the big biscuits? Because of this uncertainty, I wasn't able to make it to the end despite my attempts, but I got through a good number of levels at least.
Ultimately, the game was great and fun, just in need of a better tutorial!
The atmosphere pulled me in right away. I honestly had fun playing it.
I think it could use some higher pacing in the gameplay, but all in all it´s a cute tricky experience :)
I was gona try it but I cant click start :/
Once you understand the system, you quickly get caught up in the game. The atmosphere and graphics are original and immediately set the mood (the victory animation is very satisfying and cute)
A really fun game!!
Neat puzzle game! It took a little bit for me to figure out what I was doing, and when I did, I enjoyed myself a lot! The art was also quite charming. Unfortunately I got stuck on level 6 (is it a large difficulty spike, or is it not possible because the other levels are finished? It would make sense for both reasons), but this is a game you three should 100% continue on, it's a really neat puzzle game idea. That's not to say what I played wasn't fun, it was!
The concept is very unique and I enjoyed it quite a bit! I did have some trouble understanding the game's controls when I first started. I didn't realize for a while that the center button was to start the level since it had a pause icon on it. I also assumed the crumb needed to be as close to the large crumb as possible and was confused when the rat didn't react to it. Between those two issues, I thought the web build was broken at first since nothing happened when pressing the center button. I did eventually get it though! Maybe having the center icon be a play button at first and showing the range of effect for the crumbs when placing them would help. Regardless, it was still very fun!
This is such a unique and cool game, the puzzles are designed perfectly, the art and atmosphere is so cute, its a style i would love to see more often. The music was loud but really nice. A couple suggestions. Also the squeak button is amazing!
Great job, loved the game
oooh very very nice
Very nice art direction, love the 3D mouse animation in the start. Having said that I have no idea what to do, sadly I'm not bright enough to figure it out. Some brief explanation on what to do would be nice (I had the same problem with my game, it seemed obvious to me what to do, but it wasn't for the players)
Nice gamee, nice visuals and sounds, the music is loud so the game would have benefited from an audio mixer, it also REALLY needs a tutorial, overall nice game
When you say audio mixer, what are you referring to? The game does have a built-in way to lower / raise volume for specific busses (main, music, & sfx) if that's what you mean.
Huh that is what I ment, I forgot the game lol but I guess it slipped from my vision somehow, goodjob!
A nice game! It took me quite a while to figure out what to do. The background music is well.. loud! Nice job on the game and the visuals!
Really cool puzzle game! I'm always impressed when someone manages to make a game with lots of well designed levels in so short a time. I also really like the mouse eating animation at the end of each level. My biggest bit of feedback is that the rules for which biscuit a mouse will choose and which path it will take aren't explained so I had to figure it out myself. But once I got the hang of it, it was quite fun and creative!
Such a cool concept love the visuals and sound design!
Took me a minute (okay, maybe a few) to intuitively figure out how to actually play the game at first… but once it clicked? Pure satisfaction. Nice one!
Great amount of polish and a lot of content for a jam game! I enjoyed going through all the levels. Every single one offered something the other ones didn't, so it feels they all have their place. Great work!
This is cool. I can't say I agree with some of the decisions the rat makes, but that's between me and the rat. :)
Very cute game! I didn't quite understand the mechanics at first, I don't think they're very clear, but once I fully understood them, I really enjoyed the game. Good work!
