I liked the story at the beginning, but man, I'm terrible at guessing numbers! I had my husband try, and he reached the final ultimatum, but it was unclear to me whether he won or not... he got a screen that said thanks for playing and showed his score. I told him I didn't think he won and he said he did... so which is it? Haha, it was a fun game though, thanks for sharing it with us!

Hahaha, actually, if he has the screen with the score, it means he won, otherwise there would have been a game over + retry screen. So that means he completed the ultimatum on his first try!
During the final rush, I couldn’t make things clear enough, which is a shame. I think the player should feel rewarded! I would have loved to make a little drawing with all the cookies saved haha, but otherwise, it’s true that it creates a funny moment of confusion.
I know what you mean - it’s hard to get all the things you want to do in time during a jam. The drawing of all the cookies would have been perfect! And you made it clear enough to my husband who a won so he felt rewarded! I was just the confused one because I thought the milk said something about saving thousands of cookies. So I thought if you win it would be more than 5 saved. But I also didn’t get a good look at what the milk actually said. Anyhow - great game overall! 🫡😁

I expected way different gameplay going into this. The style and design of the intro and menus are so cool, but that makes the very simple gameplay feel a little lackluster. Otherwise a cool little game you made here, these styles and visuals could be used to build something really great.

I like the slanted, off-balance UI theme and style. It reminds me a lot of Jet Set Radio Future and it's oddly satisfying to look at. The hot pink, neon green, and purplish hues are also really working together well for the color palette.
I encountered some strange behavior in the guessing UI where I am able to use my keyboard to edit the contents of the guess number, but it seems like the game will still use whatever the original value is for evaluating the guess, so it seems purely cosmetic.
Finally, I was wondering about the choice of song when the vocal samples came in with "Big. Bad. Beans." until I came back here and saw that I just need to go get my ears checked. "Big. Bad. Beats." makes a lot more sense as a low-profile background track.

It's my first game, so I tried to keep it simple with a straightforward concept like “guess the number,” and I tried to dress it up with graphics and interface. I'm glad you like it!
Oh yes, indeed, I used a kind of basic spinbox, but you can write anything in it. I hadn't thought of that!
As for the music, it's just the beatmaker's tag hahaha. I'll try to improve that in the future too!

Just to be clear, there is nothing wrong with the music! I just misheard the words in the vocal sample to be something weird. More of a funny story than actual game feedback.

The art was so much fun! Theres something really addictive trying to guess the numbers and come with an efficient way of guessing so you would be able to get it right!

It's simple mechanic and rule, yet there ton of pressure just from guessing haha. The game will be more solid with sound effect and visual feedback when once saved or dead imo. Great game!
