Really fun simple game!

Submitted

This was a neat concept with a nice twist! Playing as the final boss type of enemy was a cool idea. I think the only feedback i have is that sometimes the asteroids will spawn out of bounds so like you cant really see them :>

Submitted

Great idea, fantastic use of the theme!! It's the same idea we had for our game.

Maybe it's a bit too noisy with all the sounds stacking up.

Submitted

A simple game always makes it better.

I love the concept of killing myself by my own hands. Great!

Submitted

Interesting concept that you need to kill your ship)

Never seen that before

Submitted

Cool funny Idea and nice twist on the genre with the theme. Maybe if the asteroids came from different angles or other stuff that destroys specific parts of your ship could have made it even more interesting and challenging.

Submitted

I was killing it! Brings back memories of some childhood video games.

Submitted

Nice concept and executed well! Would've been nice to have a little more challenge involved. I nearly always made it to the meteorite in time. Regardless, a really nice game!

Nice take on the theme.

Some personal feedback:

I would have enjoyed if the ship was a bit faster.

The game could use some colors! Making it colorful would have made it far more visually pleasing.

More events such as the meteor thing to damage the ship would have made things more interesting.

Maybe some things are trying to heal the ship and you want to stop them from healing it. Could play around with things like that.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

It is my first game creating my own game asset, so I tried to play it safe with lesser colours. Will try to enhance it further!

Those are great suggestion! Will try to implement them after the game.

Hope you had fun playing!

I liked being overpower, and played first just not dying for 5min thinking the game was just that haha. After I realized I just didnt read rigth the first time. Them I get the ship to explode, great concept, and Idea. I would play a more polished version of this.

Developer

Haha, same! I made the game this way as I already enjoyed the overpowered part during a rougelike games!

Thanks for playing! Consider following the game if you are interested, I am looking to polish the game after the jam based on some of the suggestion I gotten!

Interesting twist. The meteor indicator was very helpful. It was simple and enjoyable. Great entry!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! Glad you had fun!

noice game! visuals and sfx were good and the reversal of expectations is neat! I think more ways for the player to damage itself would be cool, like maybe if friendly ships had bursts of shield where you could manually aim and shoot at it to rebound it back to your own ship? regardless it was fun :)

Developer

Thats a good idea, will see if I can work on it after the game jam!

Thanks for the suggestions, glad you had fun!

NICE! I didn't realized that my goal to to get destroyed so I was like, this is so easy but then when I payed more attention I realized I was doing it wrong and overall I enjoyed it.

Developer

Hahaha, hope you were still able to destroy the ship before it gets home!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for your time!

You thought I was your undercover agent when in fact I was an undercover agent playing as your undercover agent.

I WILL GO HOME!!! (・`ω´・)

Developer

Welcome home undercover undercover agent! Hahaha

See that you did not go easy on the enemy ships!

Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed!

LOVE the retro vibe and the music SFX!
I dont feel like reducing the speeds etc. had that big of an impact in the beginning, but i really love the concept/narrativ to reverse bullet hell.
Very well done!

Thanks for playing!

I love retro games and the idea come while playing some rougelite game on my phone.

I like concept of "reverse" bullet hell, one thing i can say it needs feedback when player take damage

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The "reverse" concept came up while I was playing some roguelite  game on my phone, happy that you enjoyed it!
