Dwdw, ye I missed it, the double jump, figured it out later on xd

Was pretty cool ngl, and feel free to work on it :3

I hate the windmill. I died like 30 times to it. I couldn't finish the game due to my skill issue with the windmill, and when I got it (which happened twice), I died due to bizons. (Even though once I was standing on the fence :v)

I like the sound effects and random deaths in the kitchen. it is generally really good and fun, untill you cannot do something for so much time. Still good job!

Here are all the bugs I've found xD
- I'd love for the dialogues not to move automatically, the time was perfect, but I like clicking it on my own and being able to dissasociate for some time, xD (it happens only during the first sequence?). The first dialogue skipping also ain't working well
- Some more colliders would be great
- Having a collider to the left outside would be nice
- I am so fast xD, sometimes hard to aim
- First E interact outside is not working? (neighbor)
- Spamming on the bookshelf permanently (in that scene) zooms to ur character
- Spawning all the time in front of a house was a bit confusing at first, but its cool
- In the after car area, the tiles on the top left are missplaced? bricks (I love the parallax)
- There is a cake on the roof!
- No interact text on the car when walking back
- I may have been soft-blocked in the cut wires area (I cut it, left cause interact with the car and came back), I tried to jump into the weird paper thingy and I still couldn't open the door
- I can still take quest after talking with neighbor, but she has old dialogue. so I am stuck on the earlier quest (thus I cannot use the car??)

It is not to say it's bad, cause I honestly liked it xD
The ending was cooked xD

All in all, a solid one, good job, and the laugh xD

Hello there, just giving a heads up on what happened (probably nobody cares, but for the clarity).

I changed my game from the .exe into browser playable. That's all the changes, so it is still the same version.


For more in dev?
I compiled SDL3 stuff from source as .a files
I linked them in the project which has the same code but different settings
I setup projects for it
I changed the code which runs the main loop to run it emscripten (new SDL3 callbacks) style.

And I am happy.

Let's start with some frustrating stuff: Arrows would be great as a secondary movement option, I am not sure how they AI works there, but I am pretty sure it bugs after chasing you (when you flee far enough), one character never went to sleep, bugged, appeared somewhere else?

So like I couldn't find one character xd, so idk if there is an ending.


But generally speaking, I like it, could be polished a bit more for sure, having some small map would be neat, but I like it :3


And two screenshot, for who I couldn't find and a buggy girl (she didn't seem to notice me :c)

I liked it!
Although some colliders were really unforgiving, but it was pretty fun!

And also thanks to the onGround mechanic, it was harder to do some flowy stuff, but still cool!

Firstly, thank you for the answer.
Secondly, a web version isn't necessary to try it out, as a windows build would be sufficient, but I understand so ok.
Thirdly, what do you mean run it natively, what will it need to run on? A Linux? Windows? Web? Something else? If so, are you 100% certain that Godot can in fact compile it into a correct format?

Also about the 12 keys, what those?
Arrows and AB twice?

For the controls, we do not need to use all of them, right?

Can we get important parts of the rules laid out easily on the page, rather than in an external file?

And also, easily.

Teams allowed, no nsfw, does the game must be a web viable? Can I use any engine? Graphical assets are required to be made during jam, right?

Will there be itchio ranking also?

Does everybody from the team needs to be from the University?

If Godot is only recommended and not necessary, do I have to submit 2 version? 

"Your game must use the provided controls. These will be made available to all participants at the start of the jam." - what are the controls?

I think it's gonna be easier to have a TLDR, user friendly thing on the itchio page, with additional formal document below with the details, for the legal reasons I suppose

C++ from scratch as I wanted to try it and figure out the layout so that I could plan later on how to create working framework

I wouldn't say skill issue, tbh 10-20 enemy kills is pretty good too!

The learning curve should be improved and the ease adjusted, but yep.

Drawing fast was a thing, true, not sure why this thing was lagging tho, cause from my understanding it is the same as drawing small ones in terms of memory/time complexity, so idk xd

The song is a banger
Gameplay is pretty cool
I like this little fella and small things like this death sounds

What I would recommend would be either adding some zoom out option, or some indicators where the door is, cause on the last levels, it took me a while to find them.

But still, I really enjoyed, 15 levels passed :3

Ok, I like the idea, but it felt hella unreliable and weird on browser.

I was fully in the yellow box and died a few times.
Once I died in the blue one

My middle circle did not hit and I died cause I was too close and other times I didn't.
So although I am quite ok with bullet hells, this one on web felt really weird for me.
Collisions with the greens felt off sometimes too.

Hit me up if this is just a browser error, if so Imma check out later the exe file (cause I think I saw one?)
Still, cool music, cool graphics, idea is cool and I liked the trippy effect of everything just bending weirdly.

So ye, good job overall!

I like the concept, it is cool.
It is a bit hard to understand stuff here and it felt a bit unresposive

Overall tho, it may be me, as I am used to fast paces games more, with dynamic cameras etc
Still I think it is a solid entry, so good job :3

It took me a few reads to understand but damn man
The music is catchy
The gameplay (especially when cheating by change hands XD) is fire
Tbh, idk why, but that it is literally one of the games I enjoyed the most here 

One thing, the movement was a bit laggy, but it was alright

Actually, like stated, this game is so awesome and super polished.
I really like it!
On the last day I had paramedics for like 4-5 hours in one place, which might be a bug.
What I would suggest is adding some form of a cool interactions, for example fire fighters could be really useful to help a bit in a lot of scenarios!

 But still, that is one of the best entries I have seen, so really great job

I really like the idea, it is so cool, gameplay is fun

Although, jumping is in need of a rework, I missed the jump so many times. Also the game crushed when I moved the boxes

But tbh, I enjoyed it, really good
